So I went to dinner with a big group of Witnesses last night - No Biblical discussion or WT talk of any kind
by BonaFide inthere were 20 in the group from 3 congregations.
it was kind of a "special talk" special meal with the speaker and his wife.. no one, i mean no one, not the elders there, nor the pioneers, talked about anything "spiritual.
" everything was about work, entertainment, personalities in the congregation, and music.

you may be in my congregation. It is the one "blessing" i have - to be in a cong where no one speaks of the bible, watchtower, new system, nothing!
In 3 years I have yet to hear the old "are'nt we so lucky to have the truth" speach or "did you read the lates watchtower??"
Back in the day this was always the case - but back in the day dubs were trying to pin-point the time and the hour with 1914, the generation, the # of annointed, etc. Now that is all gone! The only thing in the Watchtower to talk about now is to listen without question or thinking. Just do what your told for the rest of your life cause your gonna die in this system just like your parents have.
Not even super-dubs dont wanna talk about the WT cause even super-dubs think they sound like cult-followers when they parrot the Neo-WT legal dept. BS

Has the "Faithful and Discreet Slave" correctly foretold anything?
by donny inone of the issues that really helped me open my eyes to the fallacy of the claims of the "faithful and discreet slave" class is that they have not been right on anything they said would happen in the future.
every instance of "new light" is simply a hindsight adjustment and their attempt to allign the beliefs with what actually is happening or already occurred.
when you examine all of their dates, and what was supposed to happen on them, as well as the generation of 1914 and the date of the sealing of the annointed, etc, etc, can you think of anything the f&ds has accurately foretold by means of "jehovahs" spirit.. don.

I cannot blame you for highlighting the fact that a lot more could have been done, especially considering that that L’Aquila had been feeling strong seismic shocks for a number months prior to the actual earthquake.
What I am about to tell you is proof of this fact.
I have many relatives and acquaintances that belong to the Jehovah’s Witness Religion. They are a very close-knit community and are always ready to help each other and so, when the earthquake struck, the nearby communities immediately sprang into action to go and help their brethren in need.
Following a request from my son, who is himself an active Jehovah’s Witness, and also because I simply wanted to do something useful to help, I agreed to open my house and began to prepare for the arrival of a family (a couple with two children). I tried to think about what they might need urgently should they have lost everything as a result of the earthquake.
Imagine my surprise when they arrived with their luggage in tow!
They explained that weeks earlier, at their weekly meetings, all of the communities had been advised regarding how to prepare themselves in order to ensure that they would be ready in the event of a potential catastrophe. The matter had been dealt with in great detail and they had been given proper and practical instructions regarding what they should do: prepare suitcases containing all the basic necessities, not only clothing, but also blankets, some rations and some bottled water. Cars should always be ready and loaded up for an immediate departure, not parked in the garage, but in a safe parking place out in the open. Mobile phones should always be kept at hand.
All this was drawn from a little booklet entitled "Wake up", which had been printed lasted year and that dealt specifically with this topic.
As a matter of fact, of the more than 200 Jehovah’s Witnesses residing in L’Aquila , not a single one was killed during the earthquake. I am also certain that many other people, including relatives and neighbours, owe their lives to the fact that this information was made available.
I was absolutely amazed!
It is incredible to realise that, by following a few simple rules, a small religious community managed to save so many lives! Then I asked myself what would have happened if all of the towns’ residents had received the same, very practical information?
I now leave it to you to draw your own conclusions.

can witness that this is done on purpose. I have even witnessed how Assembly overseers intentionally left out contribution information to accomodate a higher deficit.
i once witnessed and signed the donation slip for a $13,000.00 cheque donated to our local KH by a deceased sister. This dollar figure was never-ever read at an accounts report. Never.

I just had a short notice visit from a YOUNG "ELDER"!
by african GB Member inhe left about an hour ago,.... he called me on his way here to let me know he was " just stopping by to say hello",.... i did'nt have time to "prepare" what to say to him,...he is only 26 years of age, so i thought it would just be an easy ride for me.... i have'nt been to the meetings in 2 months.. i made sure we don't even get to talk about wbts or jehovah.. i almost offered him a beer.. do you think he is going to report me to the boe for not having a "spiritual conversation" with him?.
are they going to mark me?.

so all those kids that made fun of me in school were/are all apostates!!!! i knew it!! i cant wait to see them all destroyed at armageddon and i can stand in front of their houses and mock them! (i actually had 2 grown men-dubs state somehting similar to me recently)
