Maybe you could look at the invitation and point out how many of the alleged points that are going to be answered (as promised on the printed invite I got) are unlikely to be answered in a (typical) memorial talk. in the mid-to-late 90's i remember the new trend was that a lot of the people that were jw's started pulling their kids out of regular public school and started homeschooling them.
the absolute worst were the kids who had been homeschooled from kindergarten all the way until they graduated.
those poor kids were the most weird, unsocial, naive,sheltered, unadjusted, and uneducated kids i'd ever met.
I know one JW that turned out very well adjusted socially but lazy when it came to work ethic (cant necessarily blame that on home schooling)
I also know of another family that home-schooled 2 children. By age 7 & 8 neither of the kids could read yet. ??? HELLO????? WTF???
I for one dont agree with home schooling... just too insular if you ask me.

well I wish I could fake sick or pull out some other excuse. And yes, they do make you feel like a little kid, that has always annoyed me. As if you are "immature" because you arent spiritually strong. Where does anyone get coming off like that?
I need to grow some I guess.... I just am not ready to rock the boat yet. I am not ready to completely crush my wife with the full impact of my feelings. I need to get her more prepared.
I am NOT happy about this Saturday. Perhaps I should tell him I have started to by "cash for Life" every week and thoroughly enjoy mild cigars while I go for long drives in the country. Do you think if I shared that little snippet he would invite me next week?
