amen NvrKssdNObutt!
i was appointed w/ a few sins on my ass...and so young that i thought i would help others while die myself at armageddon.
HS appointment is bullshit, they only look at your "record" and if you've been busted for anything. I can go back and within three years probably be appointed MS again even if i believe the exact way i believe now, but hide it.
Holy Spirit in wtbts and JWs is a sham.
hey elders, rub one out before meeting with coaster so you're relaxed and can listen to reason.

Sept KM
by bobld inthis km was discussed however,i wanted to make a comment.the wtbs does not want the r&f to question their reseach and accept want they(gb) say.let's look at one of their publication they mentioned in the sept07km.the revelation (1982) book.the nov06km had over 70 correction.than they printed a soft cover edition with a whole lot more corrections.so we have to accept their bs when a child knows a lot more about the bible than the gb/fds/wt.and they don't want us to question their publications when there are sooooooooooooooo many mistakes.look at other books, the wishy-washy king of the north etc etc .they must be really brain dead.my guess is most die heart jw who read one of the wtbs books and immediately forget what they read.. bob.

what a biblical circle jerk the wtbts is!
it's so painfully obvious that they rip everything out of context and use scripts that only apply to their "reasoning".
thanks to the poster for bringing up the "where two or more are gathered" script.
thanks to the poster for bringing up limitation on information techniques of communist governments and the similarities to wtbts.
also, isn't studying the bible with a non-jw also independent study? just don't think too deep, b/c 'we've provided spiritual food in abundance'....and we research them thar worldly publications for you and take the one sentence that supports our views so you don't have to read the rest of that 'worldly filth' (subjective information to continue to make our wacko reasoning and your continued submission to our cause sound divine).
somebody PLEASE get these guys laid.

hortensia, why did you give up on literature?
it's seriously the only thing that has kept me sane for the last 15 years....but i know there's a lot of literary crap out there, i read a lot of it for writing assignments, so when i find a gem in the mediocrity, i totally freak out.
what lit fiction were you into and why did you become turned off?
just curious...i enjoy genre fiction, non-fiction, etc. an author once told me there's more truth in fiction than their is in biographies.

"Divisadero" by Michael Ondaatje.
it's the first book i've read of his and i've never seen 'the english patient'. i didn't expect much, but Ondaatje is blowing me away...great read.
my "On The Road: The Original Scroll" came in the mail and i'm very excited to read that soon.
i have about 50 books in my TO-READ pile in my office....along with keeping up with the new yorker and trade magazines and the 5-10 books i receive in the mail from publishers every week, i'll catch up when i'm dead.
anyway, "Divisadero", highly recommended.
