  my assault on 2 local kingdumb halls

  last night i printed out an announcement about the nbc dateline show, and a silentlambs tri-fold flyer off the website.. armed with these flyers, my motorcyle .

  i went on my "mission" this morning, to hit as many windshields in the local lincoln, rhode island, and pawtucket, rhode island parking lot as possible.. i managed to hit about 20, before i noticed one of the elders driving up, i was on the street at this point, and i recognized him, and he kept taking double takes at me.

  (it was norman barone, for those of you locals who might know him.

  Many communities in North America have a Family/Child Abuse Center. I suggest individual’s phone/contact their local centers and make those aware that yet another religious, closed society, organization needs public scrutiny in this regard and provide them with the date and time Dateline airs the allegations that WTBTS policies might put persons at risk.

  I’ve contacted the one's in my community, how about some of you contacting yours. All it takes is looking up the numbers in the phonebook and giving them a call.

  And hopefully, for more reasons than one, incidents in Pakistan and India don't pre-empt the program.

  just got off the phone with a friend of mine from brooklyn and he shared this little tid bit with me.

  ciro alicino's (spelling) congregation is being disolved in the next few weeks.

  it seems that soon, yes really, really soon there will be no prospect congregation in brooklyn.

  For those of you unfamiliar with the UN-DPI NGO flap, Ciro is one of two people who helped apply for the Watchtowers membership.

  I speculate that the first words out of a savvy WTBTS Corporate supporter (current Jehovah’s Witness) mouth when approached about the ‘UN-DPI Ngo flap’ from now on will be, “…how’s it possible a so-called Ciro Aliciano’s (spelling) congregation had anything to do with the UN, when such a congregation doesn’t exist?

  I would like to think that the elders involved, ‘headed for the hills’ in this case.

  However, the WTBTS, apparently, has more Corporate mobility due to less public scrutiny than the RCC and is intelligent enough not to make another martyr…at least during this particular time.

  my jw wife wants me to tape dateline for her and she thinks it's all her idea!.

  wow i cant believe it.

  i told my dyed-in-the-wool dub wife that there was an elder, the congregation po in another state, that stood up for the right thing and resigned over a child being molested, and that the story will be covered on dateline.

  I remember CBC’s ‘RoughCuts’ program well, mouthy and regret not taping it.

  I agree many may be building up the program and expecting it to be more damaging than it might actually turn out to be because it’s usually outsiders who’ve had limited exposure to this particular brand of cult behavior that produce this information and tend to ignore important nuances.

  Besides it wouldn’t be very difficult for the local elders to have the rank and file kept busy while Dateline is being aired.

  I still think the CBC producers got it mostly right, although I’m sure it went over the heads of everyone not familiar with Jehovah’s Witnesses.

  I’ll never forget the closing comments at the end of the CBC program, “…in spite of what is written on the signs at the entrance to every Kingdom Hall…not everyone, is actually welcome .”

  By the way mouthy, and forgive for being so bold, were you actually featured in some way during the CBC program? Would you happen to have been the one on the phone to her JW father only to be shunned by him?

  i was reading some news reports on yahoo about suicide bombings likely to happen here in the us.

  what irks me the most are statements made about the justice departments inability to track visas issued to foreign students.

  i remember watching a portuguese newscast via satellite tv sometime last october.

  My advise is move north about 26 miles, they like your type in the Socalist Republic of Canada.

  Actually, the myth American ignoramuses find so abhorrent (Socalist (sic) Republic of Canada) is probably the only political mechanism that keeps us (Canada), a 'country' who’s population is equivalent to California's from being absorbed into the Union as their 52nd State...at least officially.
