are they the only ones who truly know what it means to be a christian and to apply those principles in their day-to-day life?

Or, their ‘head office’, disguised as a religion, simply evolved into a highly successful publishing and real estate holding company by taking advantage of favorable 'tax wright-offs’ and shrewd American financial know how?

if anyone is interested, i have a question about baptism.. i know that in the bible jesus told his disciples to go and gather up all people .
who were willing to listen and make disciples of them baptizing them etc..etc..etc... so basically there would be a kinda pyramid effect taking place from that moment.
in time and on until the end of this system of things.
After I left the WT and realized through this cult that I had rejected the Body Of Christ, I asked for Gods forgiveness and received it. I forgave myself too.
Same thing happened to me, only…once I realized I didn’t require a God’s forgiveness, I left the WT cult and forgave my Jehovah’s Witness father for forcing me to reject my consciousness.

just a quick thought - i am a firm believer in freedom of speech etc, but having been on this forum for some time i honestly can't say that i can introduce a doubting jw interested in true christianity to this board.
some of the deep discussions on jw doctrine are excellent, but everything else seems to be nonsense in my opinion.
why can't this site be more like the old www.witnesses.net which seemed to have more spiritual meat rather than backbiting, gossip, and rumour and even obscenity.. sorry for my frank opinion

I still get to go to weddings and funerals allowing one to associate, albeit in the peripheral, with family, which allows for opportunities of informational influence regardless of how carefully ‘they’ watch out for it.

with all the "food" "fluff" larc has started, it has made me wonder how many here are vegetarian or meat eaters.. i like my meat in winter, but only in very small amounts.. summertime i go completely vegetarian and relish fruits and vegetables.. how about you??.

La, I have to echo Dave's sentiment. If it makes vegetarians feel any better I wouldn't choose eating meat, or anything else for that matter if that scamp, The All Powerful, Creator of the Universe, didn't make me crave flank so much.
You'd think the 'Big J' could have thought up something a little less grotesque and a tad more civilized in the nutritive department.
