the trial to decide whether the father can continue to allow his ill jw daughter to have blood transfusions is in progress.
four people are testifying in the father's defense.
jim penton, sam muramoto, chris christonson, and greg stafford.
Thanks again for the info beetle'...I must say, you appear to be one unconditionally accommodating individual!

a born-into-it teenager or maybe someone in their early 20's, gets df'd for an unspecified offence.
later the df'd person protests that df'ing is unscriptural and inhumane, only to be told "you knew the score, you knew what would happen, it's your fault".. but is it?
maybe it might be fairer for a converted person to be df'd for breaking the rules, after all, a converted person has joined the jw's willingly and has therefore accepted the witness rules.
...The trick for a JW born into the religion is to never get baptized. Stall, avoid, delay, act out a little is necessary ...
That's easy for you to say Amazing, but a very difficult 'trick' for a young person who's entire 'life', even prior to baptism, is wrapped up as one of Jehovah's Witness without a rational opportunity to truly explore alternatives.
Although your suggestion is logical, It just isn't that easy...It's beginning to appear to me that individuals who've made a mature, albeit misinformed choice to adhere to the WTBTS 'code of conduct and document production' are a 'breed' apart from those actually 'born into the truth'.

well, well , well ... guess what ... jws were at my door.
we talked for over an hour.
it has been about two years since i talked with a live jws as they did their door-to-door work ... yes, nbc dateline came up near the end of the conversation ... i could not let them get away without injecting that topic ... and when they gave the opening, i rammed it in .... first, has something happened to jws these day?
What a bunch of arrogant know-it-alls!!! GeezzzThese JW people are nuts!!!
Like most of us here a while ago, no doubt the Jehovahs Witnesses at the door were thinking the same of Amazings arguments. J
Regardless, of what was said to whom and to what end, the facts are, the WTBTS got their cash for the publications the ladies tote day after day.
In return for their monetary support, the JW ladies receive programmed comfort and the perception of stability within a controlling environment.
Amazing?... well...I guess he got another chance to do some of the things he seems to be good at, having some goodhearted fun.

things are gettn interestinger and interestinger every day.
on the international scene any number of scenarios can serve as triggers to set off wwiii, or the tribulation, whatever you may prefer to call it.
the next cross-border atrocity by rogue militants could easily detonate a conflagration between nuclear-poised india and pakistan.
...truly embarrassing.

now that i can't see....just a thought, jws never use eclipses as evidence of the end times, but volcanoes and other natural occurences are fair game, some science is ok, but not too much....just a little spiritual junk food for today, who is going to volunteer and answer?
you know if you don't there is a good drubbing waitng at home...... sincerely.

yesterday (memorial day) i awoke to a slow, dull, thudding headache.
it wasn't terribly bad...i ignored it really.
neil fixed me a brunch of bacon and eggs and we sat down to eat around 12:30 or so.
BeeG’, If you haven’t already done so, you may want to consider sinusitis as a possible culprit.
There may be a chance that a slightly deviated nasal passage, for example, my obstruct oxygen (that acts as a natural antibiotic) from accessing your sinus cavities to the point that bacteria accumulates unchecked in a warm, damp, poorly drained enclosure.
The result of which is an infection that causes intense sinus pressure behind either the left or right eye, or both, and acts like a migraine, accompanied by fever.
Surprisingly, the most intense sinus pain sometimes occurs when antibodies destroy some of the accumulated bacteria in a sinus cavity leaving a painful vacuum or air pressure imbalance.
If this happens to be the case after consulting your doctor, he/she may suggest riding it out with rest and recouping your immune efficiency through proper diet, temporary relief with extra-strength (500mg) aspirin. Or in severe cases prescribe antibiotics to fight the infection or ultimately, corrective day surgery to solve the cause rather than treat the on going headache symptoms.
See a doctor, I’m simply passing on another perspective.
Remember just as when we were Jehovah’s Witnesses and asked the Borg’s local corporate managers (elders) for advice, ‘we got what we paid for’.
Take care, BeeG’.

bb', how important do you think you are to them? The 2K difference in salary sounds to me like a slap in the face. That's significantly less than a hundred bucks a month.
Or, is there ‘sour grapes’ between the big shots. Is this their way of rubbing the other guys face in it, taking the advantage by wooing a creative employee for peanuts and disrupting the competition at the same time?
For emphasis...10k - 15k more, now that sounds like Greg is serious by paying you a premium for the damage your missed presence will be to the company you leave.
Is 2k all you're really worth to Greg?
Just typing out loud here bb'.

the following letter was sent to me today, it seems the congregation letter of 5-24-02 did not make everyone happy.. silentlambs .
june 7, 2002. .
watchtower.
Although I applaud the idealism, it’s like one person demanding Johnson & Johnson sacrifice their competitiveness by marketing less toxic, less effective cleaning solutions.
WR hasn’t figured it out yet, the Borg is a Government sanctioned, tax exempt corporation disguised as something of self-professed cosmic significance.
No doubt they will reflect upon the letter...for several minutes.
