wow.............caught a programme about them today...........now there is a normal bunch..........not.........what a bunch of loon's.. these people wear t shirts with 'god hates fags' written across them.................. they were enough to put you off god and religion forever.. anybody else come across them?.

A friend of mine, her son was killed in Iraq and his "followers" showed up to protest the funeral. It made me sick! I was thankful for the VETS who showed up to show their support for our troops. It was hard enough that day and then having to see their stupidity just topped it off!!!!
it's been a nine year battle, but i'm finally graduating from college with a bachelor's degree and a certificate.
it's important to me that this community knows that.
there are probably a lot of you here who didn't allow themselves to go to college.

sometimes as an incentive to do something that requires hard work and will in the long term be beneficial to attend to i'll offer myself a reward.
yes maybe the accomplishment in itself should be the reward - but i need motivation!.
so do you give yourself a carrot for getting that long put off chore, for going to see someone who needs or wants to see you, for finishing a goal, for losing weight?
I have known a few people during my life that have rewarded themselves for things that they have accomplished. For example: I have known people who if they landed their dream job they had been wishing/praying for and they would treat themselves to a new wardrobe. I guess everyone has some type of incentive when they set a goal. The key is to accomplish the goal and then reward yourself with what you have been dreaming of.
i went to this party/ social function last night (i am trying to get over my social anxieties) and i ran into a witness girl who use to live accross the street from me.
we started catching up and low and behold both of us are no longer in the cult.
she stopped in 02 me in 04 (i guess that makes her a lil bit wiser than me.
She can make good money being a stylist. I am sure if she wasn't happy doing it then she would change her "trade" for another. Some people are ok with living their so-so life and as we know others are not. We should not judge them for working jobs we would never dream of. Someone has to do it or we would all look like hippies!
i've been posting on here for four years now, and so much has changed in my life.
everything seemed to be going wrong then, but time has done wonders and things are real good now.
lots of people on the board helped and supported me through that, as well as new non-witness friends that i made.
