  i know a bunch of you have done lots of public speaking, lectures etc.

  this is not my strong point.

  i really am interested in your little nuggets of wisdom here; what do you do to reign in a bunch of unruly students and make 'em enthralled???

  there is a disturbing trend in my area that desperately needs attention from headquarters.

  congregations are getting together for picnics, parties, "fun nights", etc.

  this shocking disregard for theocratic order reached a head recently when what should have been termed a "get together" was flagrantly referred to as "the congregation picnic"!!!

  kathy griffin won an emmy award for her reality show " my life on the d list.

  " in her speech, griffin said that a lot of people come up here and thank jesus for this award.

  i want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than jesus.. she went on to hold up her emmy, make an off-color remark about christ and proclaim,"this award is my god now!".

  I hate to see references to sex on hats and t-shirts.

  Y ou know the type - Free Mustache Rides - that sort of thing.

  If someone wants to wear something like that to a strip bar, I think it's disgusting, but no problem, it's your right.

  But at Cedar Point or Disney Land? With the kiddies?

  think about any cult you can name where the members have been told to follow leaders no matter what is told to them.

  think of the late 60's with the charles manson family, how he seduced those young women into thinking he was jesus christ, and they followed him like sheep to the slaughter.

  unfortunately for sharon tate, that's what it became.

  When you are programmed to believe that everyone but "us" will be bird food after dying some horrific death by God's weapons of mass destruction it absolutely hardens you.

  When you are out in service with the "happiest people in the world" and they joke about that destruction of the goats that won't listen to our message you lose that common bond of humanity. They are not one of us. After all it's their fault and God is going to get them.

  When you are told that it is a form of love to treat your own flesh and blood like they don't exist because you have to harden your heart to make God happy then you are a robot. Hard hearted and emotionless, cold, made of steele, no longer flesh and blood yourself.

  Filming for disfellowshipping documentary has begun

  hello jwd it has been a few months now since i initially posted an announcement regarding my intention to create a feature length documentary about the emotional and psychological effects of the wts disfellowshipping practice.

  i am happy to announce that filming began the weekend before last at the 2007 a common bond conference in chicago.

  i was welcomed to acbs conference with open arms.
