I love who I have become in the last year and yes I think I'm quite enjoyable to be around. I make sure everyone is having as much fun as humanly possible. I am a people person.

for the past few months i have found myself biting my tongue at what i have been observing with some participants on jwd.

please keep in mind i have been around since noah on these boards (circa 1997) and have watched several trends and people come and go over the years.. i am not seeking approval, support or anything other than expressing a personal observation.. every once in a while an egoist appears on the ex-jw boards.

more often than not a former elder who feels they continue to hold some sort of special wisdom that they must proclaim to the masses.

i have been inspired to ask this question by narkissos' thread: "is 'consciousness' overrated?

" (et al).. whilst my question is primarily directed to you nark, i want to open this up to everyone else also.. nark - from your opening ramblings (and i mean that in the most endearing way) on "is 'consciousness' overrated?

", and from other recent posts, i get the feeling that you are asking these questions because you know something and you are trying to grasp onto what you know.

I know that I've only just begun to know myself. I know that I like myself more than I ever have. I know that I've never been happier than I am right now. I know that all of those things are quite an accomplishment for someone who has been out of the cult less than a year.

i've got one post for the next 14 hours so i figure i'll make it count.. when i was 21 i began to really question the state of the world.

you know- "is this life all there is, yadda yadda.

" that sort of thing.

I am undecided and content to be so. I no longer feel like I must figure it out.

After Divorce- When Getting Into a New Relationship - Don't Just Settle !

i think most of us will agree that after having gone through divorce - that many of us were gun shy before getting into another relationship.

and that is fine for some people who feel they just can't go " there" anymore.

that being said, there are some of us over the years who after divorcing, went through several relationships or marriages before finally getting it right some day.
