  i have a question for everyone regarding your personal experience with the brainwashing techniques of the wt.

  (its amazing that i can even say that now.

  once was a time i would have bristled at the mere suggestion that the society brainwashes people.

  i carried this crush like a pathetic puppy for almost 2 years, never summoning the nerve to ask her out.

  From the tone of your post I personally think you could be putting yourself in danger emotionally.

  You sound like you are still "crushin' on her". That's understandable.

  Face to face could cause a lot of feelings to come flooding back and then what do you do with those feelings?

  Be happy that someone you care about is out and move on with your own life and your own family.

  i invited an ex-missionary couple who served in hong kong to dinner to "hear their experiences.

  " i opened a few bottles of wine.

  {partly my fault} brother missionary starts slurring as i top up another glass.

  JW does not regret receiving her court-ordered transfusion

  i love happy endings.

  ms k. gave birth at an irish hospital last year, and lost an enormous amount of blood.

  the hospital didn't know she was jw, and apparently she didn't have a "no blood" card with her.

  I'm glad her husband wasn't there but why the hell wasn't her husband there?

  Perhaps he had a part on the meeting .

  Darin's Toastmasters charter night event

  well i've been busy these past 2 weeks, and will be even busier within the next month.. .

  last thursday, the united republican toastmasters club had its charter night dinner.

  it was a black tie optional dinner, and both darin and i wore a tux, along with about 10 other guys.. .

  Just Rambling about things I gone through lately....could use advise....

  well to say the least i have not been much of a jw lately......young person just having trouble on the road of life...i drifted away from jah and started moving toward witch craft.....not the best decision of my life to say the least but i am trying to come back.

  i have not really ever been good with getting to the meetings having school homework friends and just my plain laziness but it seems to have gotten worse lately.my mom seems to have the impression that it is a good idea to try and force me to be a jw... i know it is right and all but i can't really do things when i am being forced...i just with things could be simpler.

  i am open for advise and all of that...i could really use it...

  When I started studying with witnesses I was 21 years old. They told me never to take someone's word for anything, to question and investigate everything. Have you read the Question From Readers in the Sept. '07 Kingdom Ministry?

  Read it and ask yourself "what are they trying to hide?"

  They are not "right" just because they say they are.

  There is a big world out there to explore that has nothing to do with JW's or witchcraft.

  Check it out.

  We are all here for you and we are all very different individuals with a common past.

  Lean on us as you begin your journey of self discovery.
