Here's a diff angle, lol. I've worked in peoples homes for over 20 years with their carpet. As a general rule small dogs p&p or pee and poo indoors, while most large breeds seem to have an natural desire to go outside. You will have to be honest about your mom's personality as it seems most people just can't bring themselves to be stern with "the poor little thing" I don't reccomend white dogs or dogs with any kind of ooh sound in their name in general. Dachsund's and spaniels ( esp brittany's?) are notorius p&p, some poodles, chihuahua's, and most terriers are are pretty good. Not Yorkies though. I have seen one very well behaved Bichon, the lady was strict! Also if it's cold or rains alot where you live, they can be quite hard to coax outside. There are exception's to everything, that's just what i see. Little old ladies are not notorious for keeping up with the pooch Oh and for some gross factor! The average dog produces 4-6 ounces of urine per 5 lbs of bodyweight, each day. A ten lb dog who does 1/4 of his biz indoors, leaves you about 7 gallons of urine inside each year. Believe it or not it is usually 3 to 5 years before the people start to even notice it! Removing 21 to 35 gallons of dehydrated urine is no small feat btw.

presumably the elders make a decision if an expelled one is regularly attending meetings, but only they can give them lit.
