christians, what's so great about jesus?.
why do so many people feel the need to base their life on a person, they have never met, did not write any of the works on his life, and has enormous claims made about him that can not be proved to be true?.
sounds just like following the governing body of jehovahs witnesses to me.. can anyone give me a good reason for me putting trust in this man?

Jesus was supposed to be the personification of love. I think he was supposed to tell people who "just didn't get it" that that's were it's at.
do you remember those articles called "what is the meaning of life?".
there was almost one in every watchtower and books such as "live forever" had chapters devoted to the subject.
i think there was a picture of some lonely guy looking out to sea across a sunset with that typical witness depressed but joyfull look.. any way, i was thinking to myself after finding such an article on the web that i haven't been pre-occupied by such questions since leaving the borg.
What is the meaning of life anyway? To go to meetings and go out in service? Yuck, I don't think so.
Now that I'm not a Dub, those questions don't bother me. The question, "what is the meaning of life" seems so obvious that it doesn't have to be examined. You have life to live.
That probably doesn't make any sense but hey, I'm tired. Deal with it! hee hee

Remember that the bible does not say "find the person closest to following God and serve them." It was an all around no policy of following anyone or anything. DON'T pick the false profit closest to obeying God; discard them all together.
By the way VioletAnai...we aren't all mean people. Some of us are a little (or a lot) bitter. Some of us have reasons. Alot of us have been hurt, very badly.
Actually if you MUST know...I read somewhere that a woman in trouble should scream FIRE instead of HELP. Supposedly more people respond to FIRE. I was just wondering.

My mom is allergic to most scents. I've never worn perfume unless it was really mellow. She can wear lavander and sandlewood. (I really don't like either of them! :( ) My sister likes vanilla.
I do have some lotion that smells like "cucumber and melon". It's kind of a summery smell though. Winter calls for experimentation! I like scents that have zing but have underlying deep tones. The home oil called "exotic" from the body shop is awesome (in my elevated opinion~hee hee).
A word of caution my fellow posters: Don't over do it! There is such a thing as TOO much!
