  i was at the bank when i noticed the young teller reading the nwt.

  i after she put it down and helped me, i asked who was the jw.

  i just said i recognized the bible, its a very distinct bible..

  Well, I remember a girl I once knew, Karen Kunde, got fired for constantly reading watchtower mags in between waiting for customers. She felt it was her right as long as work was kept up. Religions is controversial, Medical school is not. There in lies the rub. Karen was fired for not getting approval for assembly time off. She got verbal approval, but the supervisor said she did not. She knew it was because of her stubbornness in reading religious propaganda on work time. God will cost you in the end. And he never pays reparations. LOL but he sure takes 10% No Questions Asked.

  As for those who say you can do what you want as long as your work is caught up, I really do not care about what people do unless I am the employer, but as far as dubbers go if they want to be true to the crap they spew, then they should ask the supervisor if it is ok to read propaganda if there are no customers. If they are given the thumbs up fine, but if not its stealing plain and simple as far as dubber rules go. But we all know they take the rules they like and dismiss all that they do not at the same time as telling others what the rules are. They are Hypocrites first class almost to the one.

  Was she resurrected at a zoo? These animals do not coexist together. In 1912 she would have said 2 years from now, in 1914 she would have said 2 years from now, in 1970 she would have said stay alive till 75, and then she would have said before 2000. Now it is 500 years from now?

  With out there being a boogie man there is nothing to be afraid of. If you do not need to be afraid you will be much more likely to see for yourself what is going on instead of relying on the all powerful OZ to keep you safe from the evil spirits. LOL.

  i have almost quit caring about this stuff - but i saw a scan somewhere of a 'preface' or 'forward' to a new wts pub, that slammed da persons pretty hard.

  i think that reading this infomation might be the reason that my cousin [also my absolute best friend for 35 years] has now elected to stop any contact with me.

  i would like to confirm the info and disect it a bit.. can anyone tell me what book i saw, and whether it is out there somewhere for dl ?.

  looking for thoughts on this statement.

  given that wt doctrine holds that jah is not omnipresent, and jesus is of course just a lowly angel who doesn't even have "holy spirit" at his disposal let alone omnipresence, how can it be said they are "present invisibly" at the meetings?.

  since they are not omnipresent and can't be at every meeting, how can it be said that by not attending meetings jws are "snubbing them"?.
