What did you learn as a JW?
by JH inwith 5 meetings a week plus field service, and additional reading of the bible and watchtower literature, what did you learn after all these years in the jw organization?
did we need all those meetings and time and effort just to know some simple details?

WoMD ... so where are they?
by Simon innow, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!
perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.
now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

What have I missed?!?
by StinkyPantz ini tried to connect my laptop to my motel phones as much as possible while travelling, but i only got to browse the board a couple of times when doing so.
i know that within a week or two a lot can happen on this board, so i'm wondering what news i've missed out on.

You didn't think Saddam left them out with labels on them did you? Saddam isn't dead. If there's any segment of society that thinks it's immortal more than teenagers, it's tyrants. I wouldn't be surprised if Saddam hid those suckers where he could get to them after the USA left so he could get back in power with them.
You people who say there are no WMD are the same folks who would come home at night and find male underwear under your bed, the room smells that fecund apres-sex smell, your wife's lips are bruised, she's dressed in her sexiest pajamas, the cat is hiding under the refigerator - and you look around and, finding no one, say "Naw, she ain't screwing around." You say that because you WANT it to be so. If you know so damn much about it, why don't you go over there and show the allied forces where they are?
Better yet, all you people who believe there are no WMDs get together and go to California. I will paint an 18 wheeler day-glo orange and hide it somewhere in that state. And we'll see how long it takes you geniuses to find it. And while we're at it, how many of you claim there are no WMDs because you feel it adds weight to your liberal "We told you so" smugness? I think quite a bit.

Actually, Simon, I'm refering to you allowing this thread to go on ad infinitum especially in view of your well-known Anti-American viewpoint and outlook. This thread violates Guideline #1 in that it is insulting to all Americans and other anti-tyrant forces and it violates Guidleline #2 in that it incites hatred of a particular nationality (especially its leader): the USA.
You locked a very interesting thread a couple of weeks ago on heated arguments/adult debates/free speech, etc. because of your stated reason that you were "getting damn tired of this shit," or words to that effect.
Well, I'm damn tired of your allowing this insulting, anti-US thread to continue merely in the service of your own well-known anti-Americanism. If that's not a double standard based solely on your ownership of this thread I'll kiss your ass on any street corner of any capital city in the free world and give you a half hour to draw a crowd. Your transparency is becoming astounding in its arrogance. Is that supposed to be an unannounced, unhearalded perk of board ownership? Thou can goeth where ever thou listith?

My buddy Razor is right. You need to go to a lung specialist and have a sleep test and get a CPAP machine. It's the only thing that really works. I've just gotten one. I"m finally getting some sleep I'm really so happy about that.
I'm still on vacation in atlanta. I just dropped in for the funnel of it.

Is there life on other planets?

Of course. The Universe of Universes teems with life in forms beyond our imagination. Unfortunately, the fact of our spiritual isolation we cannot observe nor contact any of this life, even when they are here as students observing life as it is lived on a world segregated for failure on the part of it cosmic, spiritual supervisors (so this "apple" world will not cause all the rest of the "apples" in this particular local universe to go bad. However, it is nice to know that it was not WE who caused the divine plan to be abandoned here, it was the spiritual administrators of this planet - Adam and Eve.
As soon as our problems of a spiritual nature are worked out on earth, the isolation order will be lifted and we'll enjoy social intercourse with other races of advancing races from space who are struggling toward the attainment of diety just like us.
