  Is The WT Society Getting Financially Desperate ? Nov.15th WT Your Take ?

  as most of us know on the board - awhile back the watchtower society printed a brochure called : "charitable planning to benefit kingdom service worldwide.

  " it was written to provide info to witnesses on a variety of ways that gifts may be made to the society presently or at death.

  i have a lurking witness friend on the board who sent me the nov. 15th watchtower and it has an article entitled, " ways in which some choose to give ".

  For over 20 years, the WTS has had this type of article either in November or December

  I too was unaware of the annual money guilt drive (giving to Jehovah .... you'll be bless in return thing !)

  Whatever happened to the " good old days " when Russell made the statement years ago that , " if we had to beg materially or petition people for money to keep advancing the preaching work then we know God's spirit is not with us"? I remember being told that as a youth growing up in the organization.

  The above statement though surely applies.... how often are the churches condemned for collection plates ? At least

  they are only two-bitting you to death ; they don't require you to rob from your children's future (wills, land, stocks)

  The old double standard is alive and well !

  has anyone had something funny happen when the jdubs tried to shun them?

  i had this gem happen this week;.

  i was in walmart shopping when i felt like eyes were staring at me.

  As tired of hypocrisy stated on the other posting you can be "love bombed " or" totally shunned" all

  all in the same day ! It shows that because of constant drilling.. "the end is near " lovers of God must

  be gathering all the more so ... "Ark of protection " etc .. " taking in knowledge" .. mentally forces JW's

  to what appears to be a totally forced, unnatural reaction to former members ! The" invisable wall "of

  fear and control is what others cannot see So funny or so sad which ?(maybe just weird funny )

  God or no God? I really don't know anymore.

  but i feel like i need to find out where i stand before i move in any particular direction.

  how could it exist if there was no universe?

  All this shows is that whether you are a Christian or anything else obvious eye conclusions must

  be updated !

  how do you pronounce n.u.c.l.e.a.r.it is not pronounced as if it were spelled n u k u l a r - so why do so many public officials & supposedly learned people say it the wrong way?

  i'm talking several presidents (present & past) college educated people, newscasters, etc.

  do they not realize how ignorant they sound because the can not pronounce the word correctly??

Just the like English add an R sound to divide the distasteful double vowel sound Example... Canada -R- is a large land mass country ! It's about pleasant sound than correct spelling On mikes you say ma tr ity not maturity CH sound do not sound good on mikes ! Caliber

  when i first got assigned to the circuit work, the branch sent me far away to a rural circuit, they usually do that with the new c.o.'s.

  i had 17 congregations, some of them were only 12 publishers.

  no sound system, no stage, meetings in a persons home with no ac.

  for those that remember my wife was attacked and nearly raped back in march.

  yesterday, was the preliminary hearing for the "alleged" attacker.

  my wife had to relive that morning in front of that bastard once again.
