  Did Jehovah really prove Satan wrong?

  in the wbts publication "jehovah's day" on page 33 it says this: .

  over the centuries, satan has tried to prove that if humans are given an incentive to do otherwise, they will not serve jehovah.

  you know that satan has failed.

  Do not confuse past, present and future tenses The issue is a future one !

  Actually, the WTS teaches that it isn't until the end of the 1,000 reign that Satan and his followers are all destroyed. From then on the WTS teaches that anyone who disobeys "God" will be instantly destroyed. Based on that, it seems that the WTS doesn't teach that Satan is proved wrong until then.

  Fear motivates many religious people to serve their gods. It's only when you have the freedom to make good decisions and not make them motivated by fear, that you can choose to make good decisions out of love. This is one reason I know the Universalist way of looking at the world makes the most sense. And universalism includes every intelligent being and gives them the credit to eventually come to the right decisions out of love. It also includes all belief systems as ways to God..... FHN

  The tools that God has given...... Faith-Hope-Love is still the ultimate answer !

  To see the ultimate eternal purpose of God is difficult for our short lives but faith, hope

  love shall always "empower " your heart to face all things even which are now present.

  God still reaches out his hands in gesture of love and compassion for us ... In such

  Scriptures above ......Can you not see this ?

  My understanding is that God will grant us freedom within the framework of a few common

  sense restrictions.. not unlike you as loving father to your child.

  I am only "inactive", not DF'd or DA'd.

  H40 and I are also just long time faders (inactive) have received the same reaction from some .

  I think it shows an uneasiness in their mind... they must pigeon hole everyone. It's not about how

  they truly feel but "what am I required to do in this situation. There are two approaches..

  1. "love bomb "again .. to draw you back 2. punish you to push you back in

  As someone already stated "no one runs from an inferior"... it show the uneasiness people have

  in handling these situations.

  There is the hard approach to shun you..or soft approach to "encourage " you to return.

  If they play hard approach and you play soft approach it throws their mind into a quandary!

  Remember implanted phobia's produce unrealistic fears where you react rather reason or think

  Any unexpected reaction may force them to think.. to awaken..

  The more people that refuse to display a standard reaction can change the whole shunning concept in time

  I love you obervations... you sound like a very emotionally mature and balanced person

  good for you ! That's what I believe long time fading does (as both you and I have done) does.

  You don't allow emotion blackmail to disturb you or worse to retaliate at those who still

  love you deeply but are still under misunderstanding and external influence and control !

  The godliness and virtue of a mother has a profound impact on the life of her children. The raising of children gives woman back her dignity. Her great contribution comes in motherhood. However she must continue in faith, love, and holiness; only a godly mother can raise godly children.
  Obviously God doesn't want all women to be mothers. Some of them He doesn't even want to be married, since according to 1 Corinthians 7 some have the gift of singleness. Others He allows to be barren for His own purposes. But as a general rule, motherhood is the greatestcontribution a woman can make to the human race. The pain of childbearing was the punishment for her sin, but bearing children delivers her from the stigma of that sin.

  Conclusion

  Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, says women are to accept their God-given role. They must not seek the leadership role in the church, but are to raise godly children. How tragic that so many women feel their lives are unfulfilled because they can't function in the same roles as men. God has given them the unique privilege of raising a godly generation of children, of having an intimate relationship with them that no father can know.

  just got a september '08 awake in my paws.. the cover asks "is there life beyond the grave".

  they have a quote from forrest gump (of course he wasn't mentioned by name but i've seen the movie a million times).

  it says roughly: in a movie a young man is shown standing by his mother's grave.
