Never lied about my time, if I didn't do any that is what the report would contain, the hounders didn't like it but then again I didn't care what they liked. they always said didn't you talk with someone, haven't you mentioned the Bible in a discussion, something? I told them no nope didn't do a thing thanks. They then said I should think of something or I would be counted as irregular, and I told them, I don't care count me as irregular, and by the way can you show me the scriptural evidence that the early christians, apostles, or even Jesus counted time???? Of course they couldn't. So I would just say well thats it have a good day and nice to see you. The morons.

... It's a female Danny Haszard !!!?!?!??
by Kudra in... another pepperspraying legend!
businesswoman waits inside dark delivery truck to surprise, catch thief .
volusia county, fla. -- a central florida store owner fed up with recent break-ins hid inside one of her company's delivery trucks overnight and captured a thief breaking into the vehicle with blasts of pepper spray, according to the volusia county sheriff's office.

I applaud this lady, she took care of business herself, my only recommendation would have been that she use Bear Spray, it's suppose to stop grizzlies and it would have really taught the thief a lesson. If she had relied upon the police to protect her property, well the continual thefts show how that would have gone. The police only react to a crime or circumstance they aren't pro active with little businesses. If she hadn't taken care of it then the robberies would most likely have continued.

People are real quick to want to protect their rights, but I for one am tired of people wanting people fired crucified etc for voicing their own opinions, Isn't Free speech protected? Is it protection when people are calling for your firing because you uttered some really stupid things?
I personally don't like the show and don't let my kids watch it. but the man is entitled to his opinion, and using the "N" word so what lots of people (mostly black) use it all the time. I get really tired of hearing so and so a civil rights leader (they all must be black) calling for someones dismisal (spelling) for using the "N" word. Where in the hell are these civil rights leaders when blacks are guilty of black on white agregious crimes, nope nary a word from them. They are all hypocrits in my book, sharpton, innis, jackson to name a few. I mean lets get real, that conversation shouldn't have been taped to begin with, enquirer didn't do it with their permission i think and really its none of their business about what goes on in a family dispute if the law isn't being broken or anyone phsically hurt.

A 405 year old clam was found of the coast of Iceland
by changeling injust thought you should know.. changeling.

That clam like johoober has clamed up in the last 2000 plus year. how to tell their age well You can determine the clam's age by looking at the prominent growth rings on the outer surface of the clam shell. Got this off ask.com so that clam had 405 (wrinkles) growth rings to count. Seems a little unfair huh, it gets to live that long and some hungry person wanting some clam chowder takes it from its home.

I got a call from an elder, he wants to come visit tomorrow.........
by fifi40 inso what to do?????.
he was a family friend for years.....i saw him in the supermarket a few months back and he stopped and chatted to me for a while.....he rang me today to see if he can call in the morning for a cuppa......he says he isnt coming to preach...... he is one of those likeable people..........but has had a heart attack shortly after i saw him in the supermarket......he says he is okay now.. so i cant really see the point...........he is older; in his 70's.......and i think whatever we talk about i dont want to be responsible for putting his health at risk by opposing his beliefs.. am i missing an opportunity or should i leave well alone?.

ush419
If he was, is, a family friend then have him over for a cupppa it might do him and you both good, maybe he is having strong doubts now that the end (especially since having a heart attack) is in sight, He might just want to be able to talk with someone, remember not too many elderly ones in the congregation have many younger "friends," and he maybe just needing to talk with someone. He probably does care about you and you can answer many ways without being definitive. He just may also be in need of someone to talk too who has proven to be a long time "friend" and not a conditional one.

Did you have "a personal relationship to Jehovah"?
by Awakened07 inremember how it was always stressed how important it was to "have a personal relationship to jehovah"?
that those who got disfellowshipped or disassociated themselves because of what members of the org.
had said or done, or failed doctrine etc., wouldn't have done so "if they only had had a close, personal relationship to jehovah"?
-
ush419
I had always thought that having a personal relationship with Jehovah was an odd thing, how do you have a relationship or make a friend of someone when they don't talk to you, don't answer you, and everything you do has to be in accord with their rules?????? Just seemed to me to be veryyyyyyy strange!!! I never felt Jehovah come into my heart, and when reading about him in the old testament i was unable to find area where the New Testament said that God is Love, unless its love of destruction, being hard headed, love of destruction, I mean whey kill all the animals because mankind was filled with violence.
And when they said that he answers us when we read the bible, well that is no better an answer than saying that plato or anyone else answers us when we read any of their works, its just nonsense, I always felt that I was missing something. Unless we make Jehovah our friend based upon how we act in accordance with his requirements and how we treat others, but that hardly describes the realm of friendship that I have had with people in my past and present.

excerpt from chapter 1
by rekless inchapter one: the potters mold.
i should have done something, anything--turn up the heat, go to the restroom, anything different from what i was doing--sitting motionless, hypnotized, watching my brother-in-law lee, sitting emotionless across the dimly lit hospital room with a blank stare on his face as he observed my youngest daughter, rachelle, and me holding his sisters hand weeping.
each comatose induced movement of her eyes kept beat to the ticking of the wall clock while she fought using every breath to sustain her life.. the three of us knew the inevitable; it was just a matter of time and a terrible strain as i struggled with my emotions.

Jehovah invented the sword, according to Genesis.
by marmot inso much for a loving god if you're a bible apologist and take genesis literally.
"after he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the garden of eden cherubim and a *flaming sword* flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

Jehober initiated the arms race don't you think? He created the first weapon of war that was specifically designed to kill, slash, or decapitate someone. So who is to blame for weaponry, Man or God?

View of the military
by ninja inmilitary men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy
-
ush419
Ninja you statement shows your prejudice, or maybe you weren't smart enough to enter military service. I served and I have 2 college degrees, my brother was with delta force and he has two master degrees. So we are hardly stupid nor a dumb animal, you statement is very offensive and shows you lack of understanding.
marmot you say something has to die inside you when you kill someone, or really and how many have you killed so that you can speak from experience. I served a couple of tours in vietnam and was put in the circumstance of having to shoot others and kill them, not a problem when you reconcile the fact they are trying to kill you. Like Gen. Patton, I believed that they should die for their country and beliefs and i wanted to help them along in accomplishing that. NO something did not die or curl up inside of me I was glad it was them and not me.
