  I feel sooooo guilty....havn't read all of this thread yet...will do so after I finish being guilty...havn't read my watchtower lesson yet...didn't intend to

  You know what scares me....being 'out of the loop'...not having any current watchtowers

  Ok ...I've confessed....maybe now I can concentrate on this thread....will come back after I read it.

  Faith?

  i think of you all allot for the helpful thoughts, and comments that you sent my way this past week.

  i think one of my problems is that now that i don't have the routine of going to the meetings and feeling my head with the watchtower and awake, i seem to have little faith in anything now....i don't feel like i "know" god anymore.

  every time i have gone to another church i just don't seem to fit in and feel "at home" like i used to at my old kingdom hall.

  Hi Corey...so good to see your post especially when I could relate sooo much .

  I went to the Alliance church last Sat. nite. It was a good message from the Psalms that is 'still with me'....BUT....although I enjoyed the music(most of it)....I stopped singing when the 'trinity' was mentioned.

  I think Swalker somewhat described my feelings about never finding a 'perfect' church...I spose that's where the PERSONAL relationship kicks in.

  I too feel 'out of touch ' with God....tonite when my computor was slow...I thought I'd open the bible(NW)...BUT....I don't trust it now...have to dig up my 'other' versions.

  My FIRST experience with ????...hmmmm...what do I call Him now....I don't want to say Jehovah and the word God now seems soooo 'generic....anyway..............................................

  My first experience with my Heavenly Father was not as a Jehovah's witness////

  sooo it 'may' be easier for me to see YHWH as separate from the organization and

  keep my faith.

  I wasn't home for my Friday bible study...when I did get home...there was a container of raspberries left for me....it took a lot of time to pick those raspberries.

  I dread hurting the sweet 90 year old lady who was my 'return visitor ' for ten years before I started bible studies aprox 2 years ago....

  .the rasperry people will be a challenge also...but I kinda have been losing respect for them....I still can't believe they didn't know about the UN-NGO issue..because he is an Elder

  .I ALSO can't believe they would lie.

  just wanted to share something with you all.

  about a month ago i call my very active jw father and ask him a few questions about an awake article (the famous one oct 8 1968) and about the "obedience and submission" article and to call me back and give me some information.. well he did not call back and friday my sister in law calls me and tells me that some jw are saying i am an apostate.

  i ask were did they get that from ( because i have not talk to any jw about my findings, except my dad) and to my surprise she said my dad.

  I'm sorry you are going thru this.

  Does it feel like the 'grief' process for you and if so I suppose you may still be in the 'shock and denial ' stage.

  There's a depression and anger stage...hopefully we don't express our anger innapropriately because that just leads 'them' to believe what they've been taught about apostates.

  Last week I went to a tent meeting...when the pastor asked for us to go to a scripture(finally!!) I beat him to it...I had to deal with my own 'snotty sense of superiority.'

  Last nite I went to the alliance church...good message from the psalms....BUT....STOPPED SINGING...when the TRINITY and HEAVEN and SAINTS were mentioned.

  Big SIGH....I'm thinking about the Salvation Army...I used to play the trumpet.

  Subliminal imagery in the WT publications

  some common ones are occult symbols, skulls, goat heads, etc...

  how many of you guys came across it?

  Missing Bible Verses

  we have all heard of whole books missing from the bible.

  st augustine, when assembling the bible for his cult (which became our catholic church), took the books that he could use for threatening people with hellfire) to get them to do his bidding.

  it, besides plunging man into the first dark ages, produced the 66 books that we know as the holy bible.
