  ****the mole..........to those of you who didnt see the interview...dr. bashir stated that jacksons where abused as youths and that because they are jehovahs witness michael is afraid of having normal sexual relations.............................more proof that jw's do abuse there families and abnormal sexual desires come those being suppressed and made to conform to an unnatural worship of our god jehovah..they are the unholy thing trying to stand in a holy place...

  as a woman who was once baptized as a witness and married to a witness, sex was never something that was looked down upon. we loved it when we were engaged in it. heck, we even had sex before we were married. my baptism present consisted of a good role in the hay and that was before we were married as well. i knew of several witness couples who were engaging in sex unbenounced to the elders. it is something done but not widely known and definetly not spoken about.

  i was only taught to believe that sex was reserved for marriage but like i said we did it. my only complaint was that my then j.w. husband looked down upon oral sex.

  i'm interested to find out how long each of you were baptized until you decided to leave?.

  i was baptized december, 1989 and left six years later.. if only i didn't get baptized in the first place, then i could tell my family how wonderful the holidays were!

  started studying - 1972 to 1975 then stopped

  started studying again 1981 to 1982 then stopped

  started real study - 1986 to 1988

  baptized - 1988

  married to j.w. brother - six months after baptism

  left on my own - 1990

  divorced - spring 1991

  remarried a worldly man - 1997 (amen)

  baptized - as a baptist in 2002 (praise the Lord)

  I "AIN'T" NEVER BEEN HAPPIER

  now i get to speak on how to guard yourself from being ensnared by the false doctrine of the j.w.'s

  Missing a meeting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  today, like many days, well, usually once or twice weekly, i'm missing yet another meeting; it's the 'book study' meeting.. just don't feel like hearing the same crap.

  the book (isaiah's prophecy) we're studying now is so redundant and boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  plus, i saw all the people i care for over the weekend, so i really don't need to have another doses of their love just yet.. sound familiar to anyone?!.

  I sure do remember that phase. I started to come up with legitimate reasons to miss some of my meetings. Such as getting in home late from work. Sometimes I would walk home from my job which was over ten miles from my house. I lost a lot of weight when I starting doing that. That is how bogged down I felt about wanting or being made to feel like I had to attend the many boring meetings.

  Although, I am a member of another church and there are meeting that I attend, I have never felt more free in my entire life. I now serve God because I want to not because I am afraid of what the elders might think.

  Do you still expect to live eternally?

  since leaving the watchtower, do you still believe that you will live forever, here on earth?

  some might think that heaven is the final destiny, while other may just believe in this short life and nothing else.

  what is your belief and how does it affect your daily life?

  oh yes, i still believe that there is such a thing as eternal life. whether it is here on earth or in some heavenly installation. that is a promise from Jesus Christ who is the Messiah. the scriptures were written to glorify Him and to fulfill God's promises to mankind. i don't believe the so-called g.b. who are always changing doctrine to suit them. phewy, humbug. i believe in the words of the Bible. God has never changed or altered what He ever said. this is why i will always believe in my chance of having eternal life.

  To The Field! Umm, Maybe Not..

  even after all these years away from dubbism, i still get a buzz each sunday morning when i awake and think "no field service ever again!".

  i appreciate that it's now called something along the lines of "engaging in the ministry" or similar, back then we simply "went on the work".

  god, how i loathed it.. so tomorrow, instead of door-bashing and meeting attending, i will do what i want to do.

  oh man, i couldn't stand field svc.what kills me now is to believe that i actually made allowed myself to be forced to do something that i really could not stand. i will never miss it. EVER!!!!

  i do however go to church on sundays and i attend wedn night prayer meetings at my local baptist church because I WANT TO not because i had better or else.

  what a joy it was to be baptized at my church without having to go through the mandatory, mundane two book study and the required field svc. and oh yeah, let us not forget about that list of over 100 questions and bible quotes that you had to have down pact.

  i used to get into trouble for making light of the these phrases that some elders have told me are to be used only gods people.

  lol that you all may know maybe:.

  "well, brother that is very "commendable," just before the meeting ends the po says to those in attendance "brothers the time left is reduced," i once heard a co say to those seated during one of his talks "well now, we don't want to die at armageddon now do we, well of course not.

  thanks all who responded. i couldn't find anything on paul c. jung. that is his correct name. he doesn't mean anything to me. it is just that i received a book in the mail from him and when i looked his name up the only info was that he puts out free books.

  hey gumby,

  he has at least twenty so called religious books out and i can never find out anything out about him on the internet but the fact that he believes that he has to spread the word.

  i ordered one of his books which are all free to anyone but it seems rather mystical to me. like some sort of unification (sun myung moon) thing.
