  it appears there are a few misconceptions when it comes to the reporting of child abuse.

  the federal law child abuse prevention and treatment act (capta)(jan. 1996 version), 42 u.s.c.

  failure to report can result in civil liability.

  can anyone give me an idea what i should charge, and is anyone interested in them?.

  the collection includes 20 issues from the 1930's.

  Post-JW education?

  i was interested in how many of you took up higher education after leaving the jws, and how old you were etc.

  i started college at age 23 (still enrolled at 24), my mother got her ged at 35 - disfellowshipped and started college at 40 - and will graduate at 45 from the university of florida in june.

  my inactive sister is a freshman in college, right on time.. my jw brother has two kids and washes windows.

  I have many friends who are JW's and not JW's have a degree in something. Yet, they have a dead end jobs. There is no way out of it. We are all in hell.

  Economy is on the Rebound

  cnn is reporting that the u.s. economy grew at its strongest pace in more than two years in the first quarter, rebounding from our first recession in a decade.

  gdp grew at a rate of 5.8 percent in the first quarter, after growing 1.7 percent in the fourth quarter of 2001.. "the economy didnt just slide out of recession, but surged out of recession," said david kelly, economist at putnam investments.. anyhow, good news for anyone who was concerned about a possible economic collapse.. .

  Stop talking out of your ass about me taking economy 101. A lot of GDP comes from business that got rid of their products that was left on their shelfs. Economy on the rebound my ass!!

  what do you think of this idea, has it been done?

  i was thinking that if i did decide to da myself, one fun way to do it might be to place a public notice in a regional paper.

  something not libelous(unfortunately), just saying that i no longer wanted to be know as one of jws because i could not reconcile the discrepancies/divide between jws organization and the bible.
