  JW's at Holocaust Museum

  i recently returned from a vacation to washington dc.

  while there i went to the holocaust museum.

  i was sitting in the lobby area waiting for my ticket time to enter the main exhibit and doing some people watching.

  i have a family of 4. each of us have very different likes and dislikes.

  my husband and youngest daughter are vehemently opposed to tomatos or tomato products.

  spaghetti sauce is completely out of the picture.

  In the words of my Pop.... "eat whats put in front of you or dont eat at all" .. then he would pop me in the head with the handle of a butter knife.. HAHA.. I love that man and miss him soooooo!!!!

  I'm mad as hell (New Here)

  i'm brand spanking new to this forum.... my story is a long one that i will save for rainy day....however i will say i have been out for a long time 10+ years and when i left i really left.

  i walked away at 20 (in my heart i was mentally gone at 17) and never really looked back much.

  i was raised jw my father was an elder my mother an off and on pioneer (my father is no longer except he goes to the memorials, poor bastard and again thats another long story) i was not shunned by my parents both of whom were still very much in although my father left shortly after me and i would like to think that my bravery and courage allowed him to do the same.

  So that answers who is here.. I dont want to stir the pot so soon, haha.. but .. as a "dedicated, baptized, service going, Elder - M.S.. are you really suppose to be here? I mean, when I active, this was a NO NO.. especially because you are "associating" with Df'ed peeps? Sounds like alot of " on the edge" , JW's ? to me... that is the reason I left the organization.. I was a hypocrite... but then thats just me and the way I handled it. And I DONT want to hear " yes but I am trying to help those in need to come back to the truth" ... heard that b4 and you as well as I know its alot O bologna.. just my thoughts on it. Rock on!
