Magnetic Personality; no
Parties: no usually get forgotten
Loner: depends, I dont' like large groups of people but I am getting better at forcing myself to meet new people.
Make Friends: yes, the big problem is making friends with the right kind of people. I tend to gravitate towards users.
Missed: only for a few days then they move on.

My mind won't shut off !
by Maddie init is after 3am and i am sitting here on my own not being able to sleep.
this seems to happen to me quite often lately and my head is like a washing machine - going round and round.
i am going to see the doctor tomorrow and tell him how i am feeling.

Be honest with your doctor and ask for help. Depression can take many forms. You might need some help getting your body back into a healthy routine and that will help you deal with your thoughts. Nothing worse than being exhausted and stressed at the same time.

I take half a Melatonin if I need to get some quality sleep. Or a gravol if I really need some sleep, but it leaves me really groggy in the morning. I still have bouts of insomnia when I am stressed that began many years ago in high school.
I also play tetris on my son's gameboy before going to sleep, something about those falling blocks just totally relaxes me.

Your votes will decide: Farewell party for loyal dub VS. Ex-JW meetup
by OnTheWayOut ini am leaving this up to jwd votes.
please don't just attack the dubs and .
vote the other way because of personal feelings.

Stick with your wife. If the dubs give you the cold shoulder maybe she will take offense for you. If not she will love you for coming with her even though she must know you would rather not. Make a united front against the busybodies who are watching for any sign of weakness between you.
You are a good man.

What was your first car?
by nicolaou inmine was an old fiat 127, i bought it 1983 and it was at least fifteen years old then!
the seats were vinyl and there were no rear seatbelts so i could send my girlfriend and her sister flying with each bend in the road!
it wouldn't go above 55mph and was rattling like rollercoaster when it finally got there.. the rear window fell out and it finally croaked in puff of blue/black smoke.

First vehicle I ever got to pick out is my current minivan. I love it. I researched all types of vans and we spent a few years looking for one the right price and model. Pontiac Montana with all the bells and whistles. I can pack all the kids and their stuff into her and I get all my groceries in one trip.

Cold Weather Dress Code for Witnesses
by WTWizard inwith the advent of cooler weather (at least in canada and the northern us), one might think of how the witnesses are going to cope.
for certain, dress codes are going to have different effects now than they did when it was broiling hot.. men are going to be more comfortable now.
cooler weather means that the coat is not going to create as much heat stroke risk as it did in the heat of mid summer.

I pioneered in Alberta Canada for two winters. I got caught wearing pants under my skirts after helping push cars out of the snow banks and fell over. I was told that my attire was inappropriate. I should have said that asking a 120 lb woman to go in service and dig the car out of the snowbank in -25 degree weather was inappropriate. I never did find a pair of mittens that kept my hands warm.
I remember that often the driver of the car would take the keys with him and then get in on an RV and leave us standing by the locked car for an hour. This was really hard on the older ones who couldn't walk far enough to reach the coffee shop.
Anyone else ever have a brother say he should drive your vehicle because it was not right for a woman to drive brothers around? Happened to me once. My mom just about took his head off about it,cause our insurance didn't cover him.
