My wife left me...

... for a week and a half trip.. i am such a jerk that i gave her a really hard time about it.. it's hard for me to take care of the kids alone and do everything she does.. oh well!.

omg i'm so pissed at my cat baby.he has this thing he does when the cat box needs changed.he pees on my clothes and on my bedding.i usually don't know he's doing it till it's to late.. last week i had just changed my bedding and put my 300.00 comferter on my bed for winter.i just climbed in my bed to go to sleep.my cat gets up on the bed and pees on me.. i know what your thinking get rid of the cat he's got a problem.but i can't who would adopt a cat who's a known pee er?

?he only does this when the cat box is really bad.i'm usually on top of it but there are times when i get home and i'm too tired to change the cat box.. so now i'm trying a new cat litter.i tried feline pine.now i'm trying a cat litter made of recycled news paper.it's called yesterdays news.so far i like it better then feline pine because i hate the smell of the pine cat litter.it smells like i have giant hamsters living with me.. now i'm left with cleaning up the pee smell out of my comferter.i bought some vinager because another poster told me it gets pee and other oders out of fabric.i'm soaking the comferter in it now and i will leave it soaking till monday.my comferter is too big to just throw in a washer and wash.i need to take it to a laundry mat and put it in a washer that can wash 4 loads at once.. does anyone else have any tips for me.number one to get the smell out if the vinager doesn't work and number two to get him to pee where he's supposed to..

I used an enzyme cleaner from the pet store after my cats used under the stairs as a litter box while we were on holidays for three weeks. (don't ask me why the kid we paid to clean the boxes didn't find it odd that they didn't need cleaning)

My cats will not use any other litter besides unscented clumping litter. I tried yesterday's news and they refused to use the boxes at all, that was a mess.

Mine pee on the mat in from of the boxes if i let them go too long. or a handy plastic bag which is really odd.

I also had to buy a new one a few months ago after they decided one just didn't work for them anymore.

I would make a trip to the pet store and see what they have. Might be a bit expensive but worth the investment especially if you intend to keep fostering cats.

Update on laser eye surgery

well, tuesday was the day for my laser eye surgery.

to be honest - it really wasn't that bad at all!

for all those that commented on my other thread about being chicken - if it's something you are thinking about - i say do it!.

I had mine done two years ago and it was the best thing ever. I had terrible vision and really bad astigmatism in both eyes.

I was totally unprepared to sit up after the operation and be able to read the computer screen across the room. My eyes were sore for a few days but I found the Refreshing Eye gel worked wonders. My night vision is fine, still have some haloing on wet nights but not enough to scare me. I find some stores make my eyes really dry. Canadian Tire, big grocery stores..I think it has something to do with the fumes and lights but that is a problem I had before as well.

I still reach to take my glasses off when I get in the shower. Still freaks me out that I can see the bottles of shampoo and read the labels.

I dove into a pool for the first time in years. Last time I did that I missed the end of the diving board and took a nasty fall cause my depth perception was all screwed up.

My kids don't even remember me wearing glasses.

I also threw out all my make up and started fresh to reduce the chance of accidentally introducing bacteria into my eyes. I also had to get lessons in applying makeup.

Walking in the rain and feeling the drops on my face was weird.

I went thru LasikMD and know a few other people who used them as well and we are all very pleased.

My vision is now 20/15.

ONce again we are falling prey to mob mentality. When I watch the video a few days ago they showed a visibly upset man stalking around the room with a small table in his hands. We don't know what happened before the video was filmed. We dont' know if he was on drugs or had a mental illness. Imagine the outcry if this poor man attacked and killed someone else. Maybe there could have been a better way to handle the situation. We don't know.

Mum's need help with possible pregnancy questions

well as you see from my avatar i already have one, she's about to turn two.

i found out about the pregnancy at just past 4 weeks.

always was clockwork regular, but i'd just had a feeling in myself that month that something was, you know, different but couldn't put my finger on it.

The forgetfulness sounds like "pregancy brain". LOL I have a fabulous memory except when I am pregnant. Then I am a complete basketcase.

Can you check with your doctor to make sure your meds are working correctly. I thought persons with Epilepsy sometime need to adjust thier doses to compensate for physical changes.

Also, since this is your second pregnancy, you will be much more aware of the changes in your body because you know what to look for now. Losing weight is pretty common, you body is doing some very heavy work. Keep up your fluids and get rest when you can, like that will be easy with a little one already.

Well to tell you the truth...I have a humpty back, bow legs,twisted fingers from Rheamatoid arthrities.my belly protrudes a lot.( I am 80 so I am NOT pregnant) & sometimes my eyes cross.I also have nodules on my elbows So I really would be lying if I said I AM!!!
