  Did you loose your faith after leaving the false?

  new to this and as a nonbeliever i would like to ask how many people lost their belief in a god after leaving the wts.

  what opened your eyes?

  what made the light get brighter?

  Yes. I attend church with my wife but don't believe a word of it. I like the people there, but don't see how any one could believe all the stuff that is said there. As I see religion it just fills a need for someone to feel they have something out there to prolong thier life after death. There is no provable evidence that God is out there looking after all his christain friends. It is all just a mystery to me. There are too many conflicts between religions for there to be a true one. I'm waiting for death to enlighten me, or not.

  how many millions are aged 95 and over?.

  if they were born in 1914 they would be 95, so chances are they didn't actually hear to comprehend that "millions now living will never die".. it could be a stretch, but possibly a 5 year old could have heard and comprehended the message.

  they would be 100 yr. old.. but just to cut wt some slack, we will go with age 95 and above.. so how many jw millions left in that age range, folks?.

  Haven't you heard of the new light? A generation is not those individuals who were born in 1914 but a society that lives a certain way. I think it was revealed in 1995. Those millions who were living back then didn't really die, they are spiritually alive now.

  What happened to the three in one God? They have been gone now for 2,000 years and haven't shown up for anyone. Well maybe to help some roll on the floor and speak some crazy words, or save someone with an emotional feeling. He just took off back to heaven and hasn't been seen since. They didn't get stuck back together and can't get appart did they?

  For Animal lovers....

  my dog has been destroying with his teeth a part of a wood deck for months.

  digging and biting..... tonight i decided to replace these boards, i took out the screws and could hear growling underneath...there is not that much room between the ground and the deck.. i ran and got a flash light to shine in between the boards.

  in the middle was a grey coat.. to one side was a large pink nose.

  When I was a boy living out in the country I would catch some in the rabbit trap. I would let them go but a lot of people ate them. With food prices going up and the jobs being lost they may be in danger again.

  I got dunked twice. I was 6 or 7 years old the first time and was baptized by my dad in a creek. I wish I could remember where the creek was. When I was in my 20s I got dunked again at an assembly back in the early 60s or late 50s.

  i first had access to the internet in 1994. i thought it was amazing all the information at my fingertips.

  My brain is going out on me. I can't remember much about my past computer history. I was on a bulleton board before I got on the internet. I remember Compuserve, or the word compuserve, can't remember what it was though. I get so frustrated trying to remember things. I hope it isn't that disease that starts with an A. Old age sure has got my brain not working as it should.

  a web site called jehovah-witness.net where x-jw's and jw's who pretend to be jw's come to chat about how bad jehovah witnesses are and how they brain washed them etc, would it not be more productive to move on and forget than to let something most of you obviously hate take so much of your time and effort.. for some being a jw is about not being part of the world, what other religion is there that is as moral as a jw.

  i am d'fed but i belive that jw's are the true religion.

  sure some of them can be self righteous pricks but there imperfect just like anyone else,we all need to focus on us and not worry about what there doing because we can't change them.. .

  i know that everyone here is an individual with their own thoughts and beliefs,and i'm not starting this thread to debate whether or not jesus is god or not...but i am kinda curious about this.

  thank you in advance for taking the time to consider this with/for me.. jesus christ instructed people on how to pray.

  with the opening line of the lord's prayer he said (something to this effect) "our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name" (hope i got that right).

  "My journey thus far has brought me in believing there are greater, smarter and more intelligent being(s) than us humans in the universe – God or Gods as you may refer to it. What exactly that entails/details regarding human creation/life/purpose, I am still researching and pondering…BUT…

  …I live my life and enjoy it, looking to help and assist others when I can in real practical ways. I have also accepted the notion that I may never have all the answers I need or want. Interpret that as you will, for whatever there is – if anything that we can possibly relate to on a human or human-like conscious plane - after this life may make what we have now the most important aspect of “living” or a very insignificant part of our everlasting “life” journey."

  I agree with this. We just don't know what life is about, it could be far beyond what we can imagine or nothing.

  The bible has to be explained by religions. It doesn't make sense to a logical person. The trinity is just like all the other teachings. There are scriptures that say one thing here and another there. Christ is the only begotten son of God, whatever that means and doesn't know things that God does, like when the end will come. God is greater than he is but equal too. THe holy spirit is a dove, but also God. It's all a bunch of crap.
