  I’m sorry to say this, and I feel a bit uncomfortable agreeing with this person, but Yadirf is quite correct, the Watch Tower did score a touch down here.

  No, not in the eyes of the reasonable, no not in the eyes of the honest, but in the eyes of the hoodwinked, the programmed, i.e. the average Dub. He is the living proof that their strategy works, and works well. As much as I hate to admit it, and as much as I wish it were not so, the Power Of The Tower is awesome in this respect. And in this case, there is no doubt about it at all, the Tower is victor.

  Yadirf represents the mindset of your average Dub, and your average Dub will likely react the same way. Yes a true Dub will defend the organization at all costs, including the necessity of losing any sense of integrity and reason as our friend Yadirf so admirably demonstrates for us here.

  I wish to thank you Yadirf for your comments, please keep posting, we want the world to see what a true loyal Dub is all about. Regrettably, we can’t save you, but perhaps your posts could help save others before it is to late for them.

  WT does NOT own "Military Stock"

  i thought this deserved its own thread...below is a reply a made to one of the previous threads ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=24473&site=3 ) and i am anxious for someone to refute it...or maybe i'm right.. not quite...it seems everyone is muddling the details on this.. it seems that james mccann, who donated the stocks to the wt, invented an improved rotary engine called a rand cam engine.

  his company, the rand cam engine corp is a privately held company, but he has donated 50% of the stock to the wt (but retained the voting proxy so the wt has no say in what is going on), he owns 34% and the balance is owned by several shareholders.

  this company is half owner of another company called rand energy group.

  That is not the only tie the Watch Tower has to the Military.

  One Watch Tower owned company also owns some of the rights to smart bomb technology currently deployed and being used in Afghanistan right now! Like it or not, that is a fact! Believe it or not, it is still a fact! The company I personally work for has to pay a licenses fee for use of this technology, and part of this revenue is returned to the Watch Tower as profit. Without getting into details as they are classified and most of which I don’t even have access to anyway, this technology involves “target recognition”, the weapons see and recognize the target.

  Recently the NAVY has awarded a Watch Tower owned company a contract to develop a new pilot-less vehicle to be used in warfare. The details are classified and so there is not much info on the net, however there is some type of a general release I remember reading as this news is more or less public info. Basically a Watch Tower owned company is providing the small high efficiency low noise engines for these planes. According to my source, the drone planes themselves are “field adaptable”. A number of reconnaissance sensors can be deployed (my employer makes these sensors) and also a small offensive weapons pod, similar to the predator.

  And according to disclosures made to the Securities and Exchange Commission, THE WATCH TOWER IS A MAJOR BEIFICERARY of revenues produced, that’s also a fact, like it or not!

  The Elders told me I had to give up a high paying Job as an engineer because just SOME of what the company did was military related, but here we have them, the Watch Tower, directly profiting from warfare and that seems now to be OK. Can you say hypocrites! Sorry for my ramblings but I was invited to attend the phony memorial and was just bursting at the seams trying to hold back my tongue. Every time a smart bomb goes boom, the Watch Tower makes a profit. The above writing is likely incoherent, but it is also factual nonetheless. I just needed to vent in this post.

  Conspiracy theory...I’ll tell you what a coworker once said to me some years ago when I worked as a NASA contractor. He said; “I can tell you first hand we never went to the moon. My proof? Well, I have no direct evidence, but I’m sure it was all faked nonetheless. I have had to deal with some very stupid people high up in the chain of command at NASA, the very same people that ran the moon mission. So I just know it had to be faked, maybe done on a Hollywood sound stage, but there is no way these morons could put a man on the moon, no way”!

  Sometimes I think maybe he was right :-)

  Fighting in Afghanistan/Warthog

  with all i've been reading in the newspaper, i have yet to hear one mention of the a-10 warthog.

  this plane is extremely manuverable, highly survivable with tripple redundant systems all thru the plane, and packs a major punch with its nose cannon which the plane was built around.

  it would seem perfect for the small arms fighting going on right now.

  The A-10 is indeed a tank killer, the front mounted canon fires several super-hard “depleted uranium” tipped non-explosive rounds opening a hole in the target tank. Then the next round, an explosive “anti-personnel” round fly’s through the middle of the open hole and explodes on the inside of the tank, turning everyone inside into ground beef. The A-10 is a cool plane; I have seen them up close, my then 8-year-old son had the helmet on and even sat in the cockpit. In my opinion, the A-10 would not be the best choice for use in Afghanistan as I don’t think they have too many tanks left do they? Then again they could pay a visit to Sadam as long as their in the neighborhood anyway, I think he still has a few tanks :-)

  Darkest before the dawn

  well, this day started out really bad with a panic attack about 8am at my doctor's office and a dark mood that lasted all day.. it ended with me getting a job as a data base and marketing assistant with a national banking association where i get to work from home part time with full benefits while i am going to school.. thanks for always letting me voice my feelings here.

  i think getting it out helps me.

  maybe someday soon i won't need to do it anymore.. take care and thanks for caring about me.

  I have been Shunned again

  i was reading through the local newspaper the other day, when to my astonishment, i saw a full colour picture of a jw couple.

  they had won the valentine of the year competion, run by an international food store.

  the picture showed, the happy couple recieving a presentation of a bottle of champaine and some flowers from the store manager.. i shared the article with my wife, and we smiled, because we knew this couple very well, they belonged to our former congregation.
