  honestly i think teaching your kids that the JW teachings are 100%ig correct and teach them not to question it but study more jw literature is a good bet on being the "worst parent"...

  even though my own parents did that with me and never teached me to think but only to swallow i cant hate them.

  i love them because i know everything they did was for love. so they did it right... and they're the best :P

  but i fear im not worthy of their love when i leave anymore... but i wont hate them for that... again its their way to express the love...

  i went to see prince in concert at the o2 in london last week.

  i didn't really want to go, he's not my thing but my wife wanted to see him so i went along for the ride.

  he is actually an extremely talented guitarist and pianist and he can sing too.

  you know the excuse yourself im sure! its not because of the witnesses. its because of the assemblies are open to the public so there might be worldy scam who could practive idolatry! and because brother prince dont wanna make it more difficult for his brothers and sisters.

  The FDS and the 144,000

  would someone please verify and explain the following wts theocratic arrangement for me.

  it is my understanding that the fds is made up of all members of the anointed who are on earth (wt march 1,2004 page 10 par.

  9), and that this fds class is represented on earth by the governing body.

  thats the reason for the belief change regarding 1935 btw.

  they ran out of good members of the 144000... in some centuries there would be NO anointed ones on earth anymore (or at least it would look more and more suspicious that SO many anointed ones would be "replaced" by new ones). who would lead the jws then? so they decided to let the 1935 doctrine drop and let new anointed ones chosen for infinite time.

  even christians will 'sin' on occasion, but they believe they can be forgiven.

  The only way I would like being a spirit person is if I was allowed to roam the universe at will. (I can fly the speed of light or faster!)

  since the universe is part of the physical world there is no need for someone in heaven to cross any physical world boundaries since they dont exist for him.

  of course "free will" isnt the cause of sin. its the unability of imperfect humans not to do what they freely decide. even if you decide willfully not to sin youll do it. thats the reason for sinning. imperfection. of course there is free will in heaven, because satan and all his demons willfully decided to offense god.

  even in paradise earth there will be free will... but of course everyone decides not to sin there. noone will change his/her mind just like the first humans (adam and eve) and one of the first angels (satan) did.

  the immorailty.... what is more likely:.

  a) the immorality of the world is the result of evolution, since individuals with an high sex drive will have more offspring.... or.

  b) the immorality of the world was introduced because adam&eve ate a forbidden fruit and obeyed an evil angel?.

  Sorry, thats not my question. Of course morality is another interesting question and i have an opinion on it too. And okay, yes, an opinion cannot be unbiased. But the act of getting it might be. Like having two unlabeled glasses of coke in front of you without knowing pepsi and cokes taste and choose with one tastes better.

  And thats the point. You cannot choose between "comes from evolution" and "comes from mythology" unbiased, because i believe you dont think about this question in the first place without having an biased background. Its the problem of faith and things that cannot be proven.

  wikipedia was how I got started examining. It seemed harmless, possibly unbiased, lets see if JW's are on here? Oh they are, hmmmm........ interesting, maybe I'll follow this link to see what they say about CT Russell....... uhha..... yup.... okay...... O my! ...... are they serious??....... etc. etc.

  Sinning against the Holy Spirit - Unforgivable? How does one commit it?

  i seem to remember a doctrine that says that the only sin that is unforgivable is a sin against the holy spirit.

  is apostasy a sin against the holy spirit?

  i always wondered about that one...

  some day it hit me like a hammer: the unforgivable sin is willfully sinning. this can not be forgiven... but... you can change your mind and come back... and your sin will be forgiven, since it isnt willfully anymore. its not more like that i bet.

  this scripture is not about some mysterious sin which makes you dead meat without any chance when you commit it. thats just bullshit... and if it would be such a thing its would be better explained.

  what a loving god would it be who says "there is the unforgivable sin" but dont tells us what it is. so if you commit by accident its just "HAAAHAAA!" and death...
