im new to your website and im very thankful i have found it.
i was born and raised a witness but managed to get myself out after highschool and havent been back for five or six years.
now that i have a family of my own im totally confused.
Celebrate...good times, come on.
If that doesn't help then what WAC and Sweetstuff said about what Changeling said was well said.
Edited to add: And a mighty big welcome to you, and I hope you post often!
my awesome pre-teen girls are the best kids in the world.
and they were spanked!.
did he do it because he's a fifth-generation jw?.
LDB, I just read your post to my wife. I share some of the writings on the forum from time to time when they are relevant to us. My spousal unit is a former assistant director of a city recreation center and a former director of a YMCA before and after school program and is now an RN. I am a professional lint inspector, second class. We applaud your balanced view of discipline and methodology, spanking included.
had quite a discussion the other day with my niece who is a "follower" of this zacharia sitchin.
i looked up a bit on line but i found it quite deep.
she has had a bible study with jw's quite a few years ago and rejected it totally and returned all the books.. i would like to hear from anyone who reads this guy...thanks.
I can't say I've read Sitchin, but I've read somebody that read Sitchin. If the guy got Sitchin's take on the interpretation of the Akkadian correct he is way far in outer space, literally. FWIW
interesting!
any ideas why?.
princeton, nj -- republicans are significantly more likely than democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four november gallup health and healthcare polls.
I was reading a book earlier today that said 'compassionate conservative' was first used by Orrin Hatch around '81 and that Bush used the phrase strictly for the alliterative effect and the facade it gave that he supported the religious conservative base he needed to get elected.
The same book went on to say that former liberals formed the basis for neo-cons. As in Irving Kristol and Rupert Murdoch. I had to put the book down and think about that one for a while because it messed with my head a bit. That's almost like someone being in an ultra-conservative religion and then through some sort of change turning into a liberal atheist. It just can't happen.
I may need a mental health pro to help me finish the book.
it's nearly midnight, and all this week we're doing some after-hours work.
we have to do this when the agents are off the systems, thus after 11pm.
hopefully we'll finish it up here before 2am.
jaguar bass: and will probably crawl into bed when I'm done with beer number 5.
For goodness sakes just don't spank anything!

i found this word problem on the net from another website i frequent.
have fun and post your answer below.
facts:.
Confession: It took me 5 tries to get the answer right on the original word puzzle. Start throwing letters in with numbers and ask me to calculate and I freeze up faster than a pioneer asked to explain the Malawi/Mexico debacle.
I googled the sphere question and can only find references to a six inch diameter hole not seven. Is there something special I'm missing?
"Old Boniface he took his cheer,
Then he bored a hole through a solid sphere,
Clear through the center, straight and strong,
And the hole was just six inches long.
Now tell me, when the end was gained,
What volume in the sphere remained?
Sounds like I haven't told enough,
But I have, and the answer isn't tough!"
=============================
The volume of the leftover material is equal to the volume of a
6" sphere.

Barry: Many said they would kill her themselves and were carrying weapons to carry it out.
Maybe those with weapons could be motivated to go to Darfur and stop the conflict between the rebels, janjaweed (former and present) and the Sudanese military.
Wait, what was I thinking.

I still think the real issue in this case that seems to get missed is that the teacher got the kids to vote on the bears name. I feel that the idea of children thinking for themselves scared the crap out of the local Sudanese officials and they chose the name of the bear as a reason to 'get' that muckraker teacher. Much like the witling jc's that purge a freethinker in the congo and then df the spouse when he/she refuses to accept the ruling. It's about control.
my son is 10 months old and hasnt seen his jw grandfather or either of his great grandmothers(one jw) so i planned a trip to tulsa to see the grandmothers and show him off to the rest of my family.
fortunately for me i only have 5 jws in my family, but unfortunately they are or rather were among my closest(mom, dad, sis, bro in law, and grandma) .
now in the 10 months my son has graced this earth, i have received exactly 3 calls from my family(2 mom 1 dad) so since they started shunning me i dont bother to call them anymore.
Why didn't you come by and see me? You could have bought me dinner, or breakfast, or lunch.
Bull feathers. If I had known pg was coming as far as T-town we shoulda talked him into coming down the turnpike a little further to my stomping grounds and you could have come up this way, HL. I would have bought you all some dead cow at Cattleman's. PG's wife coulda had salad and rolls and we could all get to hold his baby. My wife is particularly excellent at cooing over infants. I've heard somewhere that pg's son might just be cute and even handsome.
Eagle of the invitation is always out there class.
