German TV Magazine Covers JW Child Abus

about 45min ago - on short notice -, german tv magazine kontraste ( http://www.kontraste.de) broadcasted a very well researched report on child abuse within the jw community.

the report was only 10min long, but it was german prime time - the very first topic after the most watched daily news magazine.

kontraste (contrasts) is very reputable tv magazine.. two victims were interviewed and a jw spokesman.

No, they were stateside for ages watching the Dateline epic unfold, even talked to Venice too.

how can all of you say that you are disgusted etc when you dont know any thing about the organisation?.

im sure you didnt really worry before but now you are all acting upset etc.. i stress to say that it is accusations not fact.. i am 16 and found the program annoying in the fact that we were portrayed completely wrong.. the bbc could say what they liked.. i think that people should be more sincere and less assuming.. thanks, mark

I'm thrilled that this issue received the coverage it did here in the States, but I only wish the Dateline expose had been this hard hitting and straightforward. Sad to say, most of the people here in America will never see this.
