  I like to write poetry, mostly mushy girly stuff, but I am sometimes inspired by my freedom from the borg and great places like JWD to write something a little different. Here goes, hope you enjoy!

  To a Dieing God

  I look at you now, my eyes brimming with glee,
  For they are truely wide, they truely see.
  See the corruption, hate and disdain,
  For any who dare to say your to blame.
  Fear now it grips you, tightening its rein,
  Now you feel it, the mindnumbing pain.

  You have no more power, no threat that will make me heed,
  your dismissal is my final deed.
  I walk away my head held high,
  looking up and laughing towards the sky,
  at a dieing god, who's time is done,
  knowing the awakening has begun.

  Your days are numbered and your servants few,
  In panic and fervor you now try to woo,
  lost souls you enrapture with your pan's flute,
  but your fear betrays whats at your very root.
  Love laced with poison, bitter and cruel
  Desperate to hand on to your faltering rule.

  You order a strike upon those who oppose,
  hoping to wipe out the very blush of a newborn rose.
  But the rose grows strong while your seed withers and dies,
  caught up in your own bed of lies.

  some days i just can't figure her out.

  at first it was coc and now it is *questionable* weapons.

  a friend of mine from volleyball invited my jw wife and i out to go shooting.

  Just Some Pics I Took While Out and About Today...

  i'm not much of a picture taker, and i just decided out of nowhere that it would be cool to take some pics.

  i'll also say that i had no fancy camera, just my picture phone lol!

  What do you miss from yesteryear?

  i met a childhood friend recently and he told me with nostalgia that he recalled the childhood days as being very pleasant.

  i told him they would be since we were living under the protection of our parents who took care of all our needs and we had no worries about anything.

  it would be like paradise.

  Taking 50 cents to the corner store and coming home with pop, chips and a chocolate bar.

  Playing skip rope for hours.

  Watching V when my parents went out and we had a babysitter. (Was banned when they were home, lol)

  Dancing with my cousins, singing Abba songs, using a hairbrush as a mic. (Yeah, I know, so cool huh?)

  Rollerskating at a rollerskating rink.

  i had to deal with rejection from my mom this last week.

  her behavior was shocking to my poor hubby.

  perhaps i dreaded it all along.

  What is Your Scariest Experience in Life?

  i'd have to say mine was when i was at the wee age of 8.. my siblings and i were out swimming with some friends and their parents.

  what i remember mostly was that i got seperated very quickly from the rest of the group and drifted into the deeper end.

  i found it getting more and more difficult to swim with each passing second.

  Being told my six year old may have cancer. Thank god, they were wrong, it was red measles. Caused her bloodwork to be very very off.

  do not understand "slow" fade, "controlled" fade, why not just stop quickly

  onthewayout has a current thread about a slow fade, and i have read many others that are similar.

  i do not understand how fading slowly vs. fading very quickly has any different consequences.

  and i mean whether an elder or pioneer or not.
