WTBTS Innocent in Swaggart Case?
by troubled inawhile back, i saw information on another web site about the wtbts's involvement with the swaggart case.
the information was presented in a way that depicted the wtbts as involved with the swaggart case and, therefore, false religion.. at first, i was shocked.
however, i did some research on what an amicus curie is.

Here is another point to, alot of householders would in pre donation time would give more then what was asked to cover printing costs so the publishers would have a little to go toward their expenses such as gas or price of insurance but now the WT&BTS found a way to get their hands on it to.

A STRONG ORGANIZATION NEEDS NOT TO HIDE ANYTHING
by friendorfoe ini have been able to keep my feelings about the jw organization on the back burner for several years now after going thru therapy and several sleepless years but now its time to speak my peace.
this is my third time on this board and the sneaking and cover-ups of the organization disgusts me.
you would think that if they had god behind them that much no matter what happened within the organization they would deal with it the proper way including contacting the authortities when required they might get more respect from the outside.. i was always taught it was wrong to judge other people but it was the elders passing judgement and not god that ran me away.. to sum it up they are worried about the outside world judging the organization but they better pray that jehovah isn't half as judgemental as they are.

I'm not here to critisize or disrespect those who really believe and try to live by this organizations guidelines but I don't see how they can sleep at night.
I've seen people get D.F. for trivial bullshit but then there are so many cases of members doing crimes against innocent children and it's kept quiet to protect the organization. -

I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO KEEP MY FEELINGS ABOUT THE JW ORGANIZATION ON THE BACK BURNER FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW AFTER GOING THRU THERAPY AND SEVERAL SLEEPLESS YEARS BUT NOW ITS TIME TO SPEAK MY PEACE.
THIS IS MY THIRD TIME ON THIS BOARD AND THE SNEAKING AND COVER-UPS OF THE ORGANIZATION DISGUSTS ME. YOU WOULD THINK THAT IF THEY HAD GOD BEHIND THEM THAT MUCH NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION THEY WOULD DEAL WITH IT THE PROPER WAY INCLUDING CONTACTING THE AUTHORTITIES WHEN REQUIRED THEY MIGHT GET MORE RESPECT FROM THE OUTSIDE.
I WAS ALWAYS TAUGHT IT WAS WRONG TO JUDGE OTHER PEOPLE BUT IT WAS THE ELDERS PASSING JUDGEMENT AND NOT GOD THAT RAN ME AWAY.
TO SUM IT UP THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE OUTSIDE WORLD JUDGING THE ORGANIZATION BUT THEY BETTER PRAY THAT JEHOVAH ISN'T HALF AS JUDGEMENTAL AS THEY ARE.
