My brother is D'd and he regularly visits my mum who has the book study in her home. Although she is always threatening to "cut him off". Anyway, the elders have caught him round there a few times and are always saying that they will have to take the "privalege" of the BS away from her because of this, but never have followed thru.
I really can't believe the elders would actually spy, but then again they have nothing better to do. In my cong it seemed that if you were in good standing or if you allowed them to use your home for their crap meetings you could get away with more (another sister still associated with her friend who'd been d'd and everyone knew but she still had teh field ministry grp in her house)

I'm trying to picture my old kingdom hall, it was pretty plain and I'm almost certain there were no WT symbol anywhere, unless it was hidden.
i have been inactive now for over a half a year, and i am just now realizing that there was not one thing i enjoyed about being a witness.
i enjoyed my friends and association with witnesses, and still do.
but i didn't enjoy one thing that we were supposed to do, not one.
My fade is still new so I'm missing quite a bit. I don't miss the meetings, the ministry or the fake-arse association after meetings. I miss a few people who I was close to, who wouldn't just discuss JW things with me but would hang out see movies and have meals with me. I can't believe I lasted so long.
