  ever notice how the "happiest people on earth" are also the most class-oriented?

  to say that jesus said his followers should all be on equal footing, it's incredible how much the r&f witness is not on equal footing.

  the social structure in the congregation is more complex than the blueprints of a nuclear warhead, but just so that you "remember your place", see if you can find where your niche was/is:

  One of the biggest cliques is not positively ID in your list Mary, although you do touch on it with the ladies in group #2 (i love your list btw and lmao!)...I and a few others fit in very well in #2 but were not elders and eventually i was not even a Mini-server and i still fit in. How could this be?.....and many of missed a lot of meetings for recreation? You fit in with upper echelon types IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF COIN AND TOYS!!.......and back in the day i had aplenty.....two week vacations and group cruises every year....always the exact same group, and ya, we were all borderline alcoholics.......almost never did our weekend bashes at the lake or ocean include the poor dubs.......we were a tight clique

  WTS causing more anguish

  i don't really know where to start on my first post; i feel i have so much to say and yet i am so emotionally tired that it is hard to go through it all again in my head.

  but, i do need support and advice and so i will make the effort.. i started having doubts about certain beliefs of the witnesses about 2 years ago and did research since that i now come to the belief there is no god, and witnesses definitely are a cult.. at first it bothered me more on the god issue, but now i am more bothered by the cult issue, mainly because it dictates my life even though i am aware of it.. when i was a child, my mother and father divorced and my mother told me i will live with my father because she was going to die at armageddon being a non witness.

  i think, as well as many other pressures i cant list for fear of a very long post, this was the main pressure that made me get baptized even though i wasn't that happy being a witness.

  i liked this video and am surprised at how few view it has received since may 2009.. one thing looks 'off'.

  there is only one elder in the vid.

  i accidentally faded about two years ago.........as my doubts grew and grew.......and my faith if ever i had any waned more and more........i just started doing less and less......esp the door knocking..........then more and more meetings.......i did not know i was fading, and never heard the term til i found this place..........once you are gone for a year or two, never make the mistake of going back to a few meetings for someone you love.......it can bite your ass!!!.........oompa

  they will leave you alone sometimes (maybe for your jw family still in).......even a ragin apostate like me......until you show up again.........

  there are so many people on here who say they were so strong in the jw faith, but then something (or many little things) started to not add up.
