I phoned London Bethel re Michael Porter / sex offender

i rang london bethel and asked to speak to someone about the recent case in the british press about a jw child sex offender.

the lady at reception asked if i was a witness.

i replied that i can't see what that has got to do with it i just would like to ask some questions.

I was disfellowshipped by the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Rockland Massachusetts Jan 5 1992 on a charge of CAPITAL offense.This Capital offense was so bad that they said that I would be stoned to death if we were in ancient israel.
What did I do that was so wicked? I rightfully accused (in private) an elder Gxxxxx Mxxxxxx of being a 'mealy mouth liar' they said that this was a capital offense because the elders are "Christ stars appointed by the holy spirit" and I had blasphemed the holy spirit.-Danny Haszard

I am fairly new here and I just knew you were going to say you had maybe murdered and elder! That is one pious group of elders you had. Did you try to prove the lie, or was in not provable? Seems like they would have whacked him instead.

I just completely lost it with my father!!!

my mums mum is very sick, she has been in hospital the last month with really bad infection, they have tried every time of antibiotics to get rid of it.

this last week she has refused to eat and drink, she told my mum she was tired of all of this, and basically said her goodbyes the other night.. we went in on saturday to see her, my mum was there, and even tho it was a little strained we managed to talk for a few hours it was nice to see her.. i got a phone call off my dad's mum today saying that my nan was deteriorating, so i msg my mum to see if this was true, it wasnt, my nan likes to dramatise things, my mum promised me she would keep me updated.

i received a phone call about an hour ago from my nan (dads mum) saying that the infection has cleared up and that she is improving and eating and drinking.

and basically said her goodbyes the other night.

Lots of people do not even get to do this, and it has got to be the one moment that must bring everyone together!

Maddie, screaming it out the window at the top of your lungs might help. Put an ad in the SUN! I hate to admit it, but I feel so guilty when I read so many posts from people here who seem to have totally come to terms with everthing JW related. Their coping skills amaze me. Maybe feel more jealousy than guilt, but I have not been able to get rid of feeling anger/hurt/defrauded/robbed.

so today i got this song in my head, and couldn't get it unstuck, so i decided to write alternate lyrics to it... when i get that tune in my head now, i'll have words that work!

I can learn these new lyrics easy, great parody! This used to be one of my favorite songs, and we sure used it a lot a conventions. I posted about it (poorly} as I could not remember if it was song 61,62,63? in the old pink songbook.

ok, i am not very experienced in the field of females.. recently, my mother and i were talking about courting, and other stuff like that.. a sister recently stopped courting a brother because "he was ready to get married too soon".. i understand rushing into things can get you into trouble.. however, the sister had said (after the first date) "this is the one i want to marry".. so, my question is why the hypocrisy??.

she was saying he was the one after 1 date; he was - after a month.. she broke it off because he was too quick?!

this isn't the first time something like this has happened.. i can come up with at least 3 or 4 other relationships where the female has ended it because of the male being too eager.. yet in each circumstance the female was quicker than the male to jump to conclusions.. .

My mom called...my niece no longer wants to be one of JWs

my mom called and so did several other folks over the past week to tell me that my neice has announced that she no longer wants to be one of jws and will not be returning to the kingdom hall.

supposedly she made this annoucement a several months ago and no one took her seriously till her mom (my ex-sister-in-law and a super pioneer of more than 20 years) just stopped attending meetings a few months ago.

anyway, since they both seemed to have stopped drinking the kool-aid, i get the conf-call from several family members.
