anyone who is following my threads knows that i post most everything about my .
wife's loyalty to the wts and the fade i am doing.
i don't post much about my mother.. if you did catch it, i told her several months ago that i had stepped aside as an elder.. she had asked if it was a personal problem, then was it a problem with the boe.. i told her that it was a problem with the organization itself.
OTWO I do not have a good feeling about this, and feel you need to put this matter in the old Gore "lock Box." After your extra info about your moms history I see she probably:
1. possibly used to think for herself
2. got a husband and borg to think for her and stopped thinking
3. started thinking and got out of borg/husband
4. got another husband to think for her
5. not enough direction, so back to borg to think for her again
She may not want or be able to have her own mind. If her current husband was perhaps more assertive, she would not be back in borg or would leave. He may be your only hope. Would he control her thinking better than borg? Let's face it there a lot of nice people in borg, and we may have to accept them for what they are. You might have some chance on reconnecting to something big like the 1975 disapointment, but that should have already happened with the GENERATION of 1914 going out the window, unless she missed it.

can anyone explain why the wts claims that faithful dubs will be resurrected soon after armageddon when to the contrary the book of revelation plainly states that the resurrection of anyone other than the saints will occur after 1000 years?
that is 1000 years after the saints begin ruling on earth which will occur at or shortly before armageddon.
let's remember that rightly or wrongly most dubs do not believe that they are in the class of the saints or anointed as they call them.
If someone could please show me an original copy of REV. maybe hand written by the finger of god and a good unedited video of the event, I would be glad to CLEARLY explain this amazing time period.

It has been quite a while since I confided in not one but two elder and my CO about some serious questions. Bad answers follow, and more research on my part. Even after writing the Society and getting more lame non-anwers which of course they all were aware of, I hear NOTHING from these guys (thank god). I even asked the last two who tried to assist me "And you don't have a problem with these conflicting teachings?" I got a feeble "no."
Now I want to ask why he can't grow some balls and tell me what he really thinks.....oompa

As soon a the WT paragraph was read about the end being "immediate" four of the elders jumped up and super-glued all the exit doors and windows so no one could "get in" he said, but no one can get out either. we have water and some ho-ho's left over from the pioneer party, but man do I want some pizza. I have the first watch and I am pretty sure I may have seen some angels whacking some kids riding their bikes in the hall parking lot. If I don't post anymore, I hope I see you in paradise. Actually, I think this is a great post and thread. I am comenting on it so I will have it under my name in posts so I can find it again. My dad/elder and wt conductor for 30 years called me once when he saw the phrase "very, very near" referring to the end. Of course prior to that was only "very near" and the bible just says "near". now it is immediate!! If you google the WT cd for "very very" only one WT hit comes up.

Tula, just got to read all the posts here, and I saw your frustration. The questions were too normal, too smart, they would work for normals but not this guy. I was trying to think of something pseudo-profound that would just make him go "WOW". I think that is what he needs whether you tell him something true or not. I dont see what all the fuss is about. Although, I may be guilty of this. I took home a poor homless man with two artificial legs and a stoved up rigid arm. The way his hand stuck up there, and how he really couldn't move it, I put him to use as a candle holder by the dining room table.

mine was an old fiat 127, i bought it 1983 and it was at least fifteen years old then!
the seats were vinyl and there were no rear seatbelts so i could send my girlfriend and her sister flying with each bend in the road!
it wouldn't go above 55mph and was rattling like rollercoaster when it finally got there.. the rear window fell out and it finally croaked in puff of blue/black smoke.
