  thought i'd bring this up again, i found it on the watchtower library and thought it was extremely annoying how they can say rubbish like this.. rape has become increasingly common today.

  a major reason seems obvious.

  sex and violence explode from tv and movie screens, from radio, newspapers, magazines and billboards.

  WTS Idea of "Prophecy" – Do You Find This Ridiculous???

  the wts view is that we don't understand bible prophecy until after it is fulfilled.

  thus their excuse for mis-understanding what was going to happen in 1876, 1914, 1918, 1925, 1975, etc.

  i,m not making xcuses for the way ive lived my life, but have sunk myself into "the pleasures of this world"quite wholeheartedly.

  mostly to escape my own demons, ironicaly due to serving god!just wondered if any of u guys went completely off the rails when u left n indulged in "unwholesome activies" like me.or maybe its jus me that ended up completely f**d up?

  sympathize completly, bin there done it got several t-shirts. if this is how ur feeling u will leave eventually, the q is how much of ur life u,l waste b4 u do it.Brought up in the truth, dad an elder (old school) we had 2 b perfect coz on show as an elders family, so were more nder pressure than rest of the cong.I had 2 make a clean break coz anythin else would av bin messy n hard, better a short sharp break than drwn out, best for evry1. hard short term but defo betta long term. hope you get on ok, let me no, am intrrested ow u go on.x

  i have just been outed on this site due to my own stupidity, and lost my anonymity after just a short pleasant while here.

  i have been turned in folks, compete with screen name/avatar, by family and i have a ton in.

  it is easy to tell it is me, although i never use anyones names.

  I carried on in the truth for the sakeof my family for a long time. what i eventually realised was, (and this was a quote that saved my neck so many times)if i,m not doing this in a heartfelt way for me and nobody else, its pointless, i,m wasting my time and yours.You r wasting your life if you think you can keep evry1 happy and b happy yourself,you cant. get out there and enjoy life.(former hypocrite)lol

  Ever have the shame of knockin on your schoolmates doors as a kid?

  ever wanted the floor to just swallow you up?then spent the rest of the wkend shittin it coz of whats gonna happen when you walk through the school doors on monday morning.think its affecting my parenting skills as an adult though coz am so aware of how my children feel about things, and the importance of never making them feel awkward or embarrassed.makes me wonder how much my parents thought of my feelings?i think they thought any bullying was a necessary form of torture, and would help me feel as christ did,i was probably sposed to enjoy it.

  some of you guys had really understanding mates didnt u? wish i had that, my so called mates were only too happy to take the mick, infact sometimes i think they even had a devilish gleam in their eyes(scuse the punn)whenever they had a chance to make my life miserable.Unfortuanatly that was often due to the fact my parents were so dedicated that they took evry opportunity to come to school to explain our beliefs to evry1, i,d even go so far as to say that if they had ranks for elders based on commitment and fervour, my father would have been commander in cheif.

  left 16yrs ago n still have issues and confidence probs,

  ileft "the truth" 16yrs ago and still cant move on in some areas of my life, i have no family now as they stopped talking to me and have never relented.this has left me with serious problems with needing aproval from people in my life.i have never stopped trying to win my fathers aproval and no i,l never have it unless i go back(which would never happen)jus wondered if any1 else has similar hangups, n if you do, how do i deal with it n move on.
