  the organization teaches you to rely on jehovah god.

  don't worry about the anxieties of this system, just modestly care for the necessities in life.

  don't plan for retirement.

  Has anyone got anything positive from the WT organisation?

  everyone seems to just hate the wt.. i am very upset with the way ive been treated but i dont hate them.. they have given me huge self confidence after helping me out of depression, although i have a fab counsellor, so they cant get all the credit.

  they have made me independent as well, (i think my ex-study conductor regrets that!

  ) i suddenly have a mind of my own and am not afraid to use it.. i owe them quite a lot they have really helped me through some bad times but they have created some bad times for me too.

  I met my wife. Even though she was brought up as a witness, she had the common sense and good judgment to see them for what they truly are when presented with the evidence.

  What is the Organization Trying to Acheive?

  i don't understand their mode of operation.. if they want lots of growth, why don't they just lighten up a bit and dispense with the whole charade of harshness and disfellowshipping.

  encourage charitable works, social gatherings, education, freedom of speech, having a family etc etc etc.

  this would greatly increase their numbers and their bottom line $$.. they seem to be shooting themselves in the foot at the moment.

  They seem to be shooting themselves in the foot at the moment. They have all but said that they haven't a clue when the end is coming , it's always soon or just around the corner. They've ran out of prophecies and 'new light'. Growth is non existant. The internet is destroying their base in western society and they are making the same mistakes the catholic church made over the pedofiles.

  What gives, they seem to be stuck in the 50's. They need a new marketing team.

  personally i hate bible ping-pong.

  i don't think it ever gets anywhere, i don't think it solves anything and i don't think the participants ever make any head room.

  however i will say in this case, i have been proven wrong.

  Airbus 330 = ANOTHER fire near air crash in Guam! Bad planes!

  airbus a 330 crashed a week ago near brazil....today, another 330 had the cockpit instrument panel catch fire on a trip from australia to japan!

  the crew put on oxygen masks and put the fire out, making an emergency landing in guam.. my last weeks threat prophecied that this plane is unsafe...todays fire proved that correct...these are not isolated incidents..

  The A330 is a relativley safe plane compared to other aircraft.

  In term of fatal accidents per millions it is no where near the highest.

  i have already lost nearly all my friends....maybe just a handful will even be social........but i so hate to lose my mom and dad and my jw son.....one is df......so he still shows that he loves me.....but damm........i so hate to lose the little bit of fam i have left.......is that normal?......stupid question.....i guess i know from my time here....i so hate these guys that can take them away.....oompa.

  i know a bunch of you have done it.....just please help me through it...........

  I did it, fortunately my wife came on board too. But if she hadn't then that wouldn't of stopped me. Her choice at the end of the day. No way could I put up with that bullshit for one second longer.

  Starting over can be hard but people do it all the time, depends on what sort of person you are. You either compromise or you don't, personally I would never ever bow down to those assholes.

  i approached the child molester that abused my daughter

  i heard that he was out of prison and wanted to say a few things to him that i never did get chance to say during the investigation and court process (for obvious reasons ) his jw wife and family support him despite knowing he had abused other kids in the congregation and he is a disfellowshipped person (he was disfellowshipped for an affair , not child abuse) what annoyed me amongst many things he said was the fact that a jw was with him in his work setting that does not work there and he is not related to the man , so he was obviously just socialising with him despite knowing what he went to prison for , and he is the son in law of an elder !

  so how come jws are allowed to mix with non family convicted child molesters that are also disfellowshipped but my hub is no longer welcome in his parents home after being disfellowshipped for years.

  this has all happened around the same time , maybe other jws have been upset about seeing the child molester mixing with jws and everyone local has had to suffer , any ideas on this strange situation?

  Witness 007 returns to wife and meetings..I give up! Sorry no choice!

  my wife's been having mental problems since hurting her back at work...we split for 8 weeks {her doing} then she rings me and says she "can't cope and is lonely" so i return {the drama continues} she seems more stable, sleeping all night...what a change!

  her mood had become alittle more stable.

  she found a part time job, and has not been dragged off by security like her last job...much improved though she dropped 10 kilos in weight.

  am going back as well after being away for several years. My children need the discipline and this is and religion is an excellent way for them to get it. My NOT going has actually stiffiled my family's growth. I know of the false teachings, but I accept the lies :-)
