  here's a thought guys......prove that jesus existed at all..using anything besides the bible....or the writings of josephus (which have been proven tampered with by the early christian church).

  you are all arguing a moot point...not only has the 'organization' been deceiving you.....but the bible itself is a made up, bit of pap, used to enslave man to his own dismay....prove me wrong.

  So....'The-Borg' ........You mention Pilate, and Caiaphas.....but both of those examples are only quoted in the bible as far as I know. If I'm missing something please give me a reference. If they are only in the bible, would you consider the possibility that "Jesus" was placed there as a way to further influence the masses....put there at absolutely no risk whatsoever by the powers that be at the time? in an effort to bring together those of differing religions under one huge roof?

  There is speculation that other emerging disease such as Morgellons Disease is the result of similar bio wafare research programs.

  1995-2005 Figures= 10 Years 2 Million Apostates???

  since russells time to now, how many apostates are there in the world??

  take one example: figures for 1995-2005 publishers up 1,413,934. baptized up- 3,306,223. missing publishers- 1,892,289 ???.

  if you factor in those that died in the 10 year period that is still alot of missing publishers compared to baptizms!

  in my area of the world i know of at least 15 members of my family and friends that have left the watchtower because they no longer believe it.

  all of them are aware of this site and my viewing and posting on it.

  however apart from one, who posts here as veen, none of them to my knowledge are particularly interested in coming to this site.

  The Watchtower brand is going out of fashion rapidly. Many come in the front door and straight out the back. Even love bombing as a stratergy is failing because so many witnesses are just too tired and warn out to pretend anymore. Only the ones heavily in denial seem to have the energy to carry on.

  In my own sphere of influence, I've persuaded at least 5 its not the truth. It's getting easier too, why? Just ask the average witnesses how they have been treated and about the lack of love and you'll be touching a raw nerve.

  Unless they do something to address the utter barren condition of large parts the organistation the rot will continue to set in.

  personally i think there are issues being played out about which we know nothing, we can only guess at ( i don't think it's the issue of universal sovereignty).

  the way i see it, we need to try to fix our problems on our own and stop looking for unproven divine guidance. if there is some being known as god or whatever, i think he would or will let us know what's up when the time is right. in the meantime, love one another, and be a good person. let's try to make a difference together.

  That's about as good as its gunna get at the moment I believe. I think we are in some sort of dark age right now. God has got a lot of questions to answer from me, as far as I can see theres a whole lot of suffering going on for a whole lot of nothing. So the reasons for it better be good.

  evolution has alot more evidence than does religion

  Evolution is just as much an article of faith as creation, personally I lean toward creation but that's another argument. Religion on the other hand is a diabolical and grotesque cancer on the human family as far as I'm concerned. Whether Jesus existed or not is irelevant, but if you use it opress and deceive other people then thats just wrong.

  Personally I think there are issues being played out about which we know nothing, we can only guess at ( I don't think it's the issue of universal sovereignty).

  My involvement with religion has taught me that they are intrinsically part of the conspiracy, no good ever seems to come from it, in fact it seems like a deliberate deception perpetrated on the human family to keep us in the dark.

  What am I trying to say? Well I do think there is a battle going on between good and evil, somehow, somewhere and the evil seems to be winning at the moment. Or is that a bleak viewpoint and you think humanity has a rosy future.

  I would love to know the truth. What is your take on things now?

  Pilate existed and so did Caiaphas, if Jesus didn't exist, the man or men who invented Christianty were extremely clever and willing to risk their lives to do it. Imagine inventing a new religion today so powerful it could turn the world upside down based on a fictional character. If Jesus didn't exist it's an even a bigger miracle than if he didn't.

  Maddie your in good company, this organization is evil and deserves to be destroyed.

  If they have the truth what are they afraid of, Jesus didn't shun people, but guess who did shun people - the Pharisees. They are just like them in many many ways. Don't be afraid of them, they are rapidly loosing their power over people as the internet outshines them, their dirty little secrets and lies won't be hidden forever.
