That appears to be a site that has nothing to do with JWs, and only about 2 members. Seems like a far worse choice than either going to an existing board or starting a new one.

First Kill
by cameo-d inin genesis 3:7 we are told that adam and eve made the first clothing out of plant material.. (though the scriptures say fig leaves, it could have been similar to grass skirts, and adequate).
why did "god" find it necessary to kill an animal to clothe them?
(genesis 3:21 (septaugint) says "leather tunics").

BlackPearl:
So it stands to reason, perhaps He didn't kill anything to get the skins, perhaps he just made them.
Absolutely. Abel is the first confirmed killer in the bible.

BREAKING!: Cheney, Neocons Considered Killing Americans in Pretext to Attac
by What-A-Coincidence inhttp://pupaganda.com/2008/08/01/cheney-neocons-considered-killing-americans-in-pretext-to-attack-iran.aspx.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slgbrbnxrbs.
in the video here, taped at the campus progress journalism conference earlier this month, the pulitzer-prize winning journalist seymour hersh reveals how the neocons convened around dick cheney and brainstormed ways to kick off world war iv, as they fondly call their pet project to take out the muslims and foment a contrived clash of civilizations.

I feel so stupid now. I really don't know what I was thinking.
I mean, it's a thread started by What-A-Coincidence. What was I expecting other than a great big steaming pile of conspiracy horsesh*t? He's not even so-off-the-wall-it's-funny crazy, he's just depressingly and predictably gullible.

Sirona:
I am not a faker or a bullshitter (thanks Derek).
As you know, I believe you to be honestly mistaken. I should probably have included that option in my original post, that some people who claim such abilities genuinely believe they have them and are not simply out to fleece the gullible.
Any type of divination can only provide ADVICE and an INSIGHT into a situation. It is always the person's CHOICE at the end of the day and nothing is ever set in stone.
And that's exactly the same situation for those who don't claim any supernatural abilities. All we can do is provide whatever advice we believe is most appropriate and after that the person is on their own.
I believe in the collective unconscious and that using certain types of divinatory methods allow us to tap into our own psyche in such a way that we get insight into what we are making of, and how we are influencing, our own future.
There's a certain truth in that. I recall a tale (probably apocryphal) of a noted military strategist who was asked how he always made such apposite decisions on the battlefield. He replied that he simply flipped a coin. His questioner was stunned by this. "You mean to say you simply leave it to chance?", he asked. To which the reply was: "No, about half the time I disobey the coin."
So in your situation, I would say first and foremost don't rely on divination or psychics (that isn't what they are there for), but if you do get psychic advice, always make your own choice after considering the advice and options. Sometimes the advice might just spark a different way of looking at the situation or it might remind you of an outstanding issue which is pertinent.
I agree. If the advice doesn't suit you, "disobey the coin".

Sorry to break it to you but all those who claim to have psychic abilities are fakers and bullsh*itters. If you need help, the last people you should consider are the sort of charlatans who say they can predict the future. If you give a little more detail about what your issue is, someone with expertise in a relevant - and real - field may be able to help you.

sir82:
The story would have been far more compelling if her husband were a Catholic who beat his wife every time she came home from a meeting or field ministry...yet she cheerfully cooked him meals & did the laundry for him.
He used to be, but because of her loving example he converted - along with 42 members of his staunchly Catholic family, and even the parish priest. And you haven't even got one Bible study. Shame on you!
