i'm continually blown away by either the conductor or participant citing outrageous statistics.
for example did you know that the us has a 5-6% growth rate?
I have noticed lots of statistics on this blog. Here's one more. According to this website there are about 6 million JW's in the world.
Not that it matters one iota, but there are 22 million Catholics in Mexico City alone.

here's the scenario: you buy an item and it's on sale for 10% off the original price.
a new cashier charges you, instead of 10% off, 10 cents!
this happened to a woman who bought a leather coat among other things and when she reviewed her slip she knew absolutely that the new cashier messed up.
I once went to a local restaurant, and noticed they forgot an item worth about 8 bucks. The hostess behind the counter looked at me like I was from another planet. It also took about 10 minutes to correct it.
The other day I bought some lettuce and the girl priced it wrong by 11 cents (in my favour).
In normal instances, I always believe in doing the right thing. AKA Karma. Seems to always work for me. But to sit in a line for another 10 minutes for 11 cents was a joke. Someday they will screw me for 11 cents of veggies I will have to throw out anyway.
I guess I just put myself in their position. Small businesses will suffer at a substantial loss.

i am going to denmark again this year to see jesper and we will be going to berlin and possibly through poland.
anybody got any suggestions or recommendations of places to check out while i'm there?
i will be staying in denmark oct 1 through oct 9.. however on my way there i will have an almost 6 hour layover in atlanta!!
i hadn't been on the board for a while, it was mostly computer problems but i am once again prowling the internet.
i had gotten back together with my girlfriend to give it another try but in the end it just fizzled out, we just stopped trying for some reason.
so i am back to single status and i think i prefer things this way, mostly.
Take a trip up I-5 to Blaine. We can meet at the Subway at the exit (276). Or a trip to Bellis Fair and have a meal at the Hometown Buffet. It's clean and cheap. Enjoy the trip-unfortunately it's just turned into the rainy season here.

I have always felt bad that an individual has to starve themselves to death. I think about her death every Christmas. The song Merry Christmas Darling was a wonderful song to listen to when watching the snow fall, and the lights twinkle.
