For those who have traveled outside of the US...your favorite destination!
by restrangled inmine is garmisch germany....spotless and dog friendly, in the heart of the alps, just on the border of austria, driving distance to anywhere in italy....an absolute dream.
the town is small, (near where sound of music was filmed) beautiful shops including, chocolate, designer fashions, local specialties and the best food you have ever tasted from every part of the world.. it is a professional skier's destination, and at the same time, cows are driven through in the morning and evening with most traffic coming to a halt to allow the same.. driving in form munich, about an hour, you climb mountains and then suddenly come into beautiful fields with the mountains rising above you.
absolutely breathtaking.

by Gopher inwe have such an interesting group of people from around the world on this board.
it might be interesting to have a thread where you discuss a hobby, something interesting that happened in the past, somewhere you've been, etc.. not deep, dark confessions - just interesting stuff.. .
* i have travelled into all 48 american states that are not named alaska or hawaii.. * for the past few years, i have had a slight walking impairment due to a form of arthritis known as ankylosing spondylitis.

To Gopher- there were many movies filmed in and around Vancouver. F4 was filmed here and there. Battle in Seattle was filmed here as well. Check you tube for that one as well as Postal-a very bizarre movie should be out next month I believe. Worked on many tv shows as well. Check out the L word- and a new show called Reaper. I worked on a movie last month called The Watchmen. A movie that will be out next summer or so. Did a tv show last month called The 4400-some wierd sci fi show with the main character looking like Jesus. There were and continue to be many more I hope.

If anyone here has seen the recent Fantastic 4 movie-look for the scene where the thing was entering the nightclub. You well see some paparazzi with cameras at the left side of the entrance. I'm the one with the big camera that does not have a flash. There's also a clean shot of me (4 seconds) doing a walkby in last years movie Deck The Halls.(should be out on video in a few weeks). 2 other films to be released shortly.
Background performing doesn't pay a lot, but it is fun. Usually a nice lunch provided as well.

I just gave 2 Mormon Elders Hell!
by smellsgood inoh man, 2 mormons were walking on my road as i was driving home from work, i stopped them, asked them firstly why in the world they were walking on a dirt road in their suits where the houses are hundreds of yards apart, and then to come back to my house.
wow, it was so interesting to see the hundreds of mormon articles i've been reading in prep for talking to the jw (who had to cancel on me to go on a trip, plus i'm kinda wary about talking to her now, as i know this will sound silly, but her mom and fam stopped by the coffee shop, and i know my boss the owner cannot afford the loss of customers...who knows how many of them are witlesses!
anyways, one was from utah, one from texas....the parroting and the language that was so present in those articles was dumbly flung at me willy nilly in adverse to my arguments.

I learned a lot about the Morons from a very reliable source. An episode of South Park. Yes I did.

In (partial ) support of Danny Hazard
by stillajwexelder indanny you have been fearless in your exposing jws for the cult they are and the harm they have done and are doing.
keep up the good work.
but please be careful in what you do as this board and recovering xjws need people like you who are fearless in exposing the wt.

I have been to homes that have a "no Jw's please" sign many times( not to preach). Can I assume there was one on his doorstep? Can I assume that this sign has been violated more than once? I do not know of his individual situation, but I get pestered endlessly 'till I now no longer answer our door when the bell rings (unless it's someone I am expecting).
The sad part here is that I cannot make a judgement on this issue because the video was censored before I could see it. Sorry but it's not your choice for what I want to see.
Seems like it's guilty before being proven innocent.
I would agree though, that a quick escort(off the property) by someone with authority should have been exercised, rather than battery.(Local law enforcement).

Welcome to the ward, er-board! 2 questions. What does the word in your avatar mean, and the roller in your handle-does it have anything to do with roller skating? I loved roller skating here 'till they shut it down,
