A very short film of a middle age Polish immigrant arriving in Vancouver airport - getting tazered, head stomped and subsequent death. Then watching the 4 cops just stand there like the heartless scum they are not trying to help revive him. I am embarassed to be a Canadian at this time. I can only hope there is justice handed out to these thugs. My condolences to his mother.

most disturbing movie scene you've seen?
by knock knock ini haven't seen this topic on here so i thought i'd.... hmmm, maybe it's because it's just too disturbing?
to me, the scene in saving private ryan - the two soldiers in the small upstairs room fighting hand to hand to the death (by stabbing).
i think that is the most disturbing thing i've seen on screen and there were plenty just in that film alone.

Saw it tonight. The "creationists" would have had credibility if they didn't lie to the judge. Instead they face criminal charges. And what's up when you disagree with someone, you have to send threatening letters? I was wondering if anyone here had an atheist come knocking at your door? I doubt it. Funny thing about this was said from the pope in the summer-(paraphrase) it's time to consider the likelyhood that evolution may be part of our lives. I never could understand why some just cannot believe that God created evolution. Just what is so awful about that?

for example, today orthodox jews and christians don't kill witches and homosexuals because they can't legally.. but if things were as their god decreed in the bible, they'd be dead.. islam, when it has enough power to enforce it's laws, summarily kills and dismembers those that offend allah.. so if you're unhappy with all the gays and druggies and atheists and witches and hippies, are you secretly longing for the day when your deity of choice exterminates them?.

I asked my JW buddy that if all life came from A&E, then where did all the African people and Japanese and so on. And as stated, does the WTS support inscest? It supports pedpohaelia, so why not!!
Now here's another question I will be asking my bud. Aparrently there is no evolution. According to him God created all that we see. All the living creatures. With this in mind, that would mean HE is in control of everything that comes and goes. Now HIV is a virus, and according to the "intelligent design" crew, nothing evolved, all was created. My conclusion- God created HIV, it did not evolve. That tells me that God created a virus to randomly destroy individuals. Now why would a compassionate Creator do something so freaking evil? It makes no sense to me.

I talked to my JW buddy last month about Jackson. He said he was not and never was a Witness (like I believe the crap he tells me). I never asked if he thought Prince was. Probably never heard of the troll anyway. Best thing to do is to say-Prince whom? How come money makes people so messed up? The WTS can have him. All his music sounds the same.

Need Help: How do I get Santa and the Reindeer mounted to the roof???

i have searched high and low on the internet to try and find out how you get stuff mounted on your roof without it blowing or falling off.
for instance, i bought a small santa with sleigh and the reindeer.

Duct tape everything to the chimney! Actually those brackets look good. The idea of nails (or screws) underneath the pulled back tile is wise, unless your roof is old. The tiles will be brittle and will break especially cold. Do it near your garage eaves if you can. That way you need not be stomping on the roof tile and damaging them.

A trip from Hope to Kamloops via the Coquihalla and return via the Fraser Canyon (avoid winter). Also a trip to Powell river via a B.C. ferry is awesome. A trip to Caribou country is always worth it. See historical Barkerville. Further north is Dawson City-aka mile 0 to Alaska. A trip to Gastown and SeaBus trip to North Vancouver. Highway 99 to Whistler, or further to Lilloett country.

My dad forced my mom into prostitution in the early 60's. I had a 1/2 brother born in 1960. He did not look like the rest of us at all. They were good at keeping it very quiet. After they both died I discussed this issue with other family members and it was confirmed. My 1/2 brother became a drug addicted demon. At age 35 he put a gun to his head. Am I angry at such horrible behaivour? Absolutely. Will I continue the cycle of bitterness. No. But it took some time to get over it. I have a good family, but only 1 in-law left and I consider her a close family member. We will once again have a good Christmas this year.
