  I understand about the faith requirement, I try to keep the faith, although lately it has been compromised. I have had studies wih a Witness, and after doing my own study of the NWT, I am left wanting.

  The kind of proof I need is not a book, but infact more like DNA. But where can you find dna samples from so long ago?

  Imagine if dna had proven this beyond a shadow of a doubt. I can only hope.

  As far as BC is concerned, the thing that bugs most folks living on the coast is the endless rain periods. May through September it is a great place to live. Right now we had our (hopefully) last snowfall and the temps are rising. Tomorrow I am out raking what's left of the falls leaves. Bill.

  I have a question for Obves. If all life came from Adam and Eve, how come we are speaking hundreds of languages? Why would we not all speak the original language those 2 spoke? Makes more sense to speak one language around the world? Why did that not happen?

  I saw sincerity in the letter to you. I also read genuine remourse. I would take the olive branch and bury the past.

  I say that because my parental units were messed up and stayed that way 'till their death. This seems a good opportunity to make peace.

  Wife makes cucumber vinagrette. 3 out of 4 people in this house enjoy it. Wish I could. Mind you I WAS brought up on haggis.

  My family says: enough with the hamburger helper! All my cooking skills left me when I got married. She says she thought my cooking sucked really bad when I met her. So what's wrong with fish cakes? 30 years later I cannot find any fish cakes. Hmmm-I guess fish cakes suck.

  My problem has always been about "the virgin birth". It smells too much like a cover up. I wish there was absolute proof somewhere of the birth.

  It was the CBC. Canadian Broadcasting, and yes it is credible. The writing on the stone tablets in Egypt indicate Jesus was born quite a bit earlier that foretold. Harpur is not a crackpot, but you can find out by yourself. Do a search. Maybe search in yesterdays archives under CBC Newsworld.
