Hi tula - The FDS certainly act as if they have the same authority as Jehovah and act as if they can replace Jesus as mediator. A very twisted interpretation of the Trinity from that view point.

Hello family...got a question and need your opinion...
by tan ini've been dating a guy for 6 months now and things have been great except...before me he had a lot of female friends...they we're never sexual (so he says) but very touchy feely.
i've met them all and he has the tendency to still be touchy feely with two of them.. i'm not comfortable with it because he now has a girlfriend.
should i be worried?

Hi tan - I wouldn't like it if I was you and would be honest and tell him how it made me feel. It could just be that he is a very tactile person but he should respect your feelings and stop .

What J.W teaching did you find the hardest to accept??
by karter infor me it was the fact that god is allowing all these innocent people to get killed to prove a point ,i mean it was a big bet he had with satan.. i explained it to my wife this way if i had our children killed in the most horriable way just to show they couldn't live without me how does that make me look?.

Just released from the Hospital. Checked No Religion. Wierd.

what a nightmare place.
they lost my pants, tried to give me an echocardiagram meant for the guy in the next room or down the hall somewhere and didn't give me the insulin i required.

No one comes to the Father but through Me
by JH incan anyone explain to me what "no one comes to the father but through me" means ?.
i told my mom, who is getting baptized tomorrow in the baptist faith, that we have to pray to the father, not jesus like they do.
she told me that they pray to jesus because jesus said, "no one comes to the father but through me", so they pray to jesus directly, and then he relays the prayer to the father.

Baptist's believe that Jesus is God anyway so they don't see a problem with praying to him. I think when Jesus made that statement he was saying that people needed to accept him as the Christ to have salvation.

I have a brother with a mental illness and no family to care for him except me and my hubby. He is stable on his medication now so in lots of ways he is much better, but his quality of life is still not what I would like him to have. He hardly ever goes out or mixes with people unless we take him out or visit him or see the mental health workers. A few years back he was much worse and would phone me up all the time saying that he was going to commit suicide.I spoke with his psychiatrist and realised that I needed to set some boundaries as a lot of it was for attention. I love him dearly and do what I am able to do for him but it does upset me that more can't be done for him.

it included his account of attempting to stone an adulterer, and his wife's reaction to his refusal to touch her, or any surface she sat or lay on in the week after she started menstruating.

Black Angels ?
by moomanchu ini thought of this topic when i was looking at the new memorial invitation.. jesus is pictured, as usual as a caucasian, and there are good reasons for him to be portrayed as such.. angels or other spirit beings however, are also portrayed as only caucasian in the ivory tower literature .. i don't remember seeing any other races portrayed as angels .i threw away all my litterature.. do you ?.
if i'm not wrong, the watchtower is a racist orginazation.. .
