We're all connected- Spiritual Atheism
by nvrgnbk inas you know, common theists believe in a literal "god" who supposedly created and rules the universe; while common atheists reject the idea of "god" altogether.. generally, spiritual atheists are people who do not believe in a literal "god" (thus the term "atheist"), but still consider themselves to be (often deeply) "spiritual" people.. for spiritual atheists, being "spiritual" generally means to have thoughts, words, and actions that are in harmony with the idea that we are all, in some way, connected - that the entire world can be thought of as one entity made up of smaller interacting entities.. therefore, spiritual atheists generally feel that as they go about their lives striving to be personally healthy and happy, they should also be striving to help the world around them be healthy and happy.
this empowering concept is referred to as "wholistic ethics".. although spiritual atheists do not believe in a literal "god"; they generally recognize "god" as an important and powerful symbol of the inter-connectedness and one-ness of the universe.
they see that, individually, everything in the universe is a part of "god"; and, collectively, everything in the universe is "god".

What does the Bible Really Teach?
by RainbowMonkey ini just have a querie about this book my jw freind gave me, its called "what does the bible really teach" i started reading and i found the first few chapters ok but further on in the book it seemed logical but just doesnt seem right, the best way i can describe it was kinda hypnotic, it just doesnt feel right... the other thing in the book i noticed was when it says "as you learn more from the bible, you may find that some well meaning people wil urge you to stop such studies.
they may worry that you will change your beliefs.
but dont let anyone stop you from forming the best freindship you can ever have.

Still preaching?
by Introspection init seems to me that many who have left the hive seem to want to do a sort of "anti-preaching", to proclaim the evils of the society, religion, whatever.
i agree that certain issues need to be made known to the public, but my question is about how we do it.
if we're preachy about it, how effective are we likely to be?

I'm exceedingly preachy about my message.
Would you like to hear it? LOL!

My concept of God is nonexistent , I havs no beliefs to either the existence or non existence of God.
I know that my heart is completely full of LOVE and that is the opposite of human nature , this love demands to be let out or it will perish and I will again be left in the darkness of fear.
This love is boundless and unconditional and lots of great people have said many great things about it .
So , what is "God"
