Godless souls

hello again!.

i never thought that so many are believers of a godless life.

i would like to know, because i just don't understand, how anyone can live life feeling god does not and can not exist?

I smell a witch hunt .

I'm rubbing my favorite Chrystal in hopes of a better energy flow so I can respond to this accusation of "godlessness"

I think that a generalized statement of such little validity and thought is deserving of the highest ridicule and scorn. I will refrain from negativity.

I will pray for the witless and shallow . I will pray for the ignorant and stubborn , for the narrow minded people full of fear and anger.

Please Great Spirit , Ja , God , Universal Conscious , enlighten the ones still in darkness and open the dark recesses of their conditioned existence to the light and knowledge of our true nature . Fill their hearts with love and relieve them of suffering caused by shortcomings.

Let all things come to pass in their intended perfection

this song called ave maria, theres hundreds of variations, i love it, except, im not sure whether or not i should stop listening to it because last i read it was about someone praying to jesus mother in time of distress; i also read that its a song that has been sung many times in the catholic church.

i encountered this information a few years back and it affected me deeply as i was struggling to wake up from the apocalyptic movement known as jehovah's witnesses.. it was prepared and presented by jim moyers , an ex-adventist.. it's lengthy.. imo, it's essential reading for any current doubting jw's or anyone considering joining their ranks.. note the comments about william miller, an adventist that had a huge impact on the father of jwism and the bible students, c.t.

Affectionate Men vs Macho Men

i was watching a 2004 (re-run) episode of average joe hawaii and larissa picked the handsome, muscular man over the loving, patient, understanding not so cute man.

i'm not sure if you're familiar with the show but in it this beautiful model/actress has to choose between an average joe and a good looking guy.

they started her off with 16 average looking men and eventually threw in 8 good looking ones to heat things up a bit.

Choose looks over substance.,,,,,, Thats an indication of stupidity and dysfunctional behavior, not an indication of preference.

That woman hasn't had "free will" ever. She doesn't "choose " anything either . She sound like a victim of conditioned behavior.

" Pleeaase, There ir nothing wrong with me , why should I examine my motives and behaviors?"

" My life is wonderful and I am fine the way I am"

An unexamined life isn't worth living , so considering the source of her behavior . I would say that she leads a pointless existence devoid of purpose and understanding , and fills her life up with "pretty" things that stroke her just right.

She still cries herslf to sleep at night at doesn't understand why she has to take prozac.

Lies on Line...I always thought JWD was a forum for Honesty

after finding this forum and being raised in the jw religion, i found jwd a refreshing place for honest feelings, fears, life experiences etc.. the history of the jw's was exposed, and those who lived any experience under this regime has been told by many members.. to be lied to by any forum member is insulting.

i have over my past year and 1/2 come to love many posters.

i realize many more have much longer time put in here.. i have been honest and exposed more of my self than i care to think about, but always kept in mind that others were doing the same and it was best for anyone new.. to lie on this forum to all of these members is horrible and i am questioning why i am so honest here.

Discount a persons worth as an individual because of a belief.

Treat with less than respect because of an imagined superiority , possession of the "truth", vehement rejection of conflicting opinion.

That sounds like hate to me.

Hate is different than dissenting.
