I celebrate it because I married someone not JDUB and also have five year old that believes in Santa. Personally I could take it or leave it because I have no emotional attachment to it. I wish I could have the same fun as everyone else, but being raised jdub takes all the fun out of it.

Be honest, Do you really Enjoy Christmas?
by BluesBrother indansk's christmas tree thread got me to thinking .. in this house we do not celebrate since my wife is still a die hard dub.
i have no complaints about that, it was our joint choice for decades and i an the one that changed .but as witnesses we were always given the negative view of the holiday time :-.
"people feel that they just have to do it although they do not really want to".

I asked her if it was about the 1914 fiasco and all she said was she had something for me to read next time I see her. I have not been in the borg for a long time and faded out years ago so I am not up to date on any news besides the the same old recycled s$%t they been spewing for years.

Okies,
That was sick, I wasnt allowed to sing that song because it was considered a Christmas carol in OKC. But once I turned 18 and left the house I made up for it, now its on my families song list when we go caroling in our nieghborhood. Its a tradition I am passing down to my son so it will never die.

How A Group Can Close a Diner
by WTWizard ini can remember when i was a witless, we would go to a particular diner frequently.
this place closed at 10:00 pm, so obviously they did not like having 40 or 50 of us coming after the circus meeting.
that was what they did, week after week, showing up at precisely 9:50 pm.

We used to go to this all you can eat chicken place after the apostower study, thier was this one family that kept taking all the skin off the chicken, I mean everyone in the family. Finally they got busted for stuffing extra chicken in thier purses and taking it home. They were asked to never come back, typical witness tring to take advantage of a good situation.

I was sixteen, my dad was an Eld I think PO at the time. I did'nt want to go back to the meeting right after they read my letter but because of the you live under my roof policy I had no choice. It was the Sunday meeting after they had read my letter on Thursday. At the hall I went to they always chatted it up until mister enforcer would get on the stage and say its time to find your seats we are about to start the borefest. On this particular Sunday I showed up with my dad about twenty minutes early, I scared them so bad everyone ended up in their seats ten miutes before it even started. It took everything I had to keep from laughing my ass from the row where all the diffs were sitting. At he time they were three in that row all about my age and younger it was awesome. When we got home my dad said he had never seen anything like that before.
