  Today is our 8th Wedding Anniversary!

  so 8 years ago this time, i was running around in a mad rush - hairdressers and make up and flowers and so on.

  the wedding was gorgeous.

  somehow, by some miracle, we managed not to totally piss off either of our families (nic - of a catholic/anglican background and me of a jw background).

  personally, i don't think the organization is reformable.

  while i was an elder, i tried to be a more moderate voice and as i grew older any harsher attitudes disappaited from within me.

  as they say, all the good (and smart) elders have left.

  What Is the Logon and Password For Prayer?

  i have been told that prayer requires a special logon name and a password to sign on.. the logon is "jehovah" and the password is "jesus christ".

  without this security measure, anybody could get thru to god, personally.. on the other hand, many experienced users claim that other logon names and passwords work, such as "mary", "allah", " saint jude",.

  "the goddess" or many others.. doesn't it seem bizarre that hundreds of millions of people strongly believe in prayer - and yet deny that it works for anyone except their.

  And don't forget to log off with AMEN, otherwise someone using the same prayer (computer) can use your account without you knowing and steal your (spiritual) identity. LOL. -ootb

  so what does everyone think of the wt info from the past year comparing the time of the end to israel's escape from egypt?

  it said (paraphrasing):"the wt may even give specific instructions that seem to lead us into the face of danger just as the israelites were led to the red sea with their enemies pursuing them from the other side.

  " also what do you think of the past two year texts- "obey god as ruler rather than men" and "stand firm and see the salvation of jehovah"?
