After expressing doubts about the blood doctrine to another elder in the congregation I attended, I was asked to meet with the rest of the elder body and the circuit overseer and after a 2 hour meeting which turned into a grilling by the CO, I was removed as an elder. This motivated me to start searching for TTATT.
I then became an "elder no more"

if a person who gets labelled as "apostate" says something truthful, yet, is unflattering or exposes the wt, it is automatically a lie......... because it came from an.... "apostate".... yet.... if the wt tells a lie, it is the "truth" just because it comes from the wt......and no-one checks to see if it is truthful...... is that right??

whenever i here that name, maybe in conversation with someone who doesnt know my past, i feel anger welling up instantly inside me.. if there were a jw in sight, i think i could give him a jolly good shaking.. just hearing that name does things to me.. jesus = love.

That's funny because I want to feel like (big mac) "it doesn't mean anything different to him then mickey mouse or batman" but it does give me a tad bit of upset so I try to stay away from anything about it.

I do not reject faith there is just something about faith that I cannot wrap my logical thinking mind around.

i don't know exactly why because he hasn't turned apostate and still seems to believe jw things.
i don't feel comfortable in asking him why he doesn't go to meetings anymore for some reason, or find out what he believes and if the things i've told him bout ttatt influenced his decision.

Your right in not saying anything to him because it might make him pull back and start up again.
Many suffer from guilt when they stop going and bringing it up may increase his guilt and make him start going again
