The preaching has always, and will always be pointless

there is only one timeframe that matters to a jehovah's witness: the present.. "so what if we taught that in 1993?
this is our present truth!.
jehovah's witnesses are being conditioned to think that the organization's history is unimportant, "the way jehovah is blessing the work now proves that this is his organization".. here's a question: if you were born into a catholic family in 1922, lived 70 years and died in 1992, what is your current standing before jehovah according to jw doctrine?
The preaching has always, and will always be pointless

is there or has there been anything that has aided you in your quest to rid yourself of the bitterness and resentment of the jw's .
i know for some it has appeared that they have a newfound religion or religious belief, but that is not the case with myself.. for some maybe visiting these sites encourages them to shed those miserable memories?
for me it just builds more resentment.
I can live with some bitterness as long as I have my freedom.

the information at the bottom of this post is from the keep yourself in god's love book, the appendix, and is a bit of the discussion of fractions......what i find interesting is this book uses a lot of the information from the november 2006 our kingdom ministry article on blood fractions, but omits the statement:.
"of course many fractions are derived from blood that has been donated for medical purposes.
this seems to be more than just an oversite.
Many just refuse not to know. It's like those that eat meat and refuse to think about the slaughter of animals that takes place in a "slaughter house".
J dumbs just don't want to know as long as the head of the bORG says it's OK to take them they will and not want to know where they came from.
When I was a elder and asked the rest of the elder body where they thought fractions came from it took 10 men 30 seconds to answer finally one said, "they come from the blood supply".
I later asked another elder why he did not volunteer an answer when I asked this question. He said, because he didn't know. This is an elder (appointed by Holy Spirit?) Yes folks it is, and how many more in the bORG just don't know where it comes from

so it was time for the 25 year reunion of tawas area high school's class of '84.
because i was class president, i've been responsible for throwing all the reunions we've held.
while i come to michigan on business a few times per year, i don't usually make it all the way up to the little, northeast, lake huron tourist town where they live.
This is another fine example of the effect the watchtower organization has had on families. It's so ridiculous it makes me sick. So many of us are affected by this outrageous society that uses shunning as a mind control method.

i don't really understand the phenonoma.. .
Wow this thread sure did turn out to be a personal battle ground.
Good thing everybody didn't have guns or you would all be dead.

we opened a discussion with my wife today at brakfast about jesus being a mediator for anointed only according wt, and not for the other sheep, ... she said "no way, never heard about that..." we decided to discuss it more detailed in the evening.... i know some quotes, but do you have some as well???....
saying fds is a mediator for the other sheep instead of jesus..... .
albert.
My guess is that the majority of witlesses don't pay attention at meetings.

i'm always amazed that witnesses can see the logic of a matter until you make a point about them!.
they'll say that jehovah god loves us.
they say we should act like christ and extend love to everyone.
Before I was outed as an elder, I had a debate with the body of elders and the CO about the whole blood policy. It was ridiculous. There were 10 men there and I asked the simple question "where do blood fractions come from?" it took over a minute of looking to each of these men who I had known for a long time before one finally answered, "from the blood supply". I later asked one of the men who I considered my friend why he didn't answer and he said, (and this is no sh!t) "because I wasn't sure".
This was an elder who was supposed to give the rank and file support in these matters. After hearing him say that I'm sure others weren't sure either.
Then I sent the society a letter with the same questions and they replied after about 2 months that after blood is broken down, it is no longer blood any more so that is why it is conscience matter.
In my objection in the letter about using the fractions taken from the public blood supply they responded, "we cannot control the general public as to how they use blood"

i often wondered about this when i first started questioning things.. .
any jw that has died in decades past, how are they even eligible for ressurection?
during the time in which they died, they were never taught "the truth", as everything changed.. any jw today, looking forward to armageddon coming tomorrow, isn't being taught "the truth" either, as will be made manifest by more doctrinal change.
TSOM:
you said:
Who are you to judge, do you have an answer to everything under the sun?
This sounds to me like you are judging the judger.
hello all, i have been lurking, looking, reading, and digesting for around 2 years and it seems the time is right to post.
i recently had one of those moments at the kindom hall where i found myself looking around thinking "am i the only one who gets it, why doesn't anyone else have this puzzled look on their face?".
said during is second talk to the congregation "all of our food, our magazines, and all our wonderful books, and videos come from/through these 9 men".
I have come to the realization that most of the rank and file Jdubs don't really pay attention to what is being said. They pretend like they do, but they are in a hypnotized state just staring into space listening without hearing.
Anyone that does become conscious of what is being said usually starts to wonder what the hell is going on.
get ready to gag.. .
*** for those of us who daily pray for our loved ones to turn to jehovah.
quickly, this is a real shot in the arm!!
For everyone of those jose prayer stories there are probably 10 stories from the Mormons, 8 stories from the Baptists, 6 stories from the Pentacostals, 4 stories from the Presbateriens and 2 stories from the Lutherans
