Crap... Elders coming over tonight for a pep talk

I think I know why the person you were debating with got cranky. I don't mean this as a personal attack, but your writing style is soporific.
Grand rambling declarations peppered with subordinate clauses that delight in hearing their own words.
Take this one, for example:

Sweetstuff, yeah that comment seemed a little off to me as well.
I've been fading for a good 5 months and I still have a mental hang-up over referring to the witnesses as "dubs" or "JWs" or other apostate-ese terminology.
I'm giving the benefit of the doubt but something smells fishy. -

You can write to the society whenever you want, but be advised that it's going to be an "us versus them" situation and your letter WILL be seen by the local BOE. If you're seriously heart-set on staying with this obviously destructive and harmful religion, then that's your best bet to bring in an arbiter.

Extremely simple solution here with two options:
1 - Write to the head office with full details, names, dates and locations. If what you're saying is true then there should be some 'splaining to do on the part of your BOE unless you're leaving something out.
2 - Leave it all behind and get on with your life. You might discover that you've been spending all your effort and emotions on a lost cause. If you want to stay religious there are a lot more loving groups out there, but if you want to further open your mind atheism isn't as scary as it seems. -

While I'm not a proponent of GM foods, I have to strain everything that Dr. Joseph Mercola says with a very fine sieve.
This is the same man who opposes vaccinations and says microwaving food is dangerous to your health. He also believes homeopathy is real.
There's a lot of common sense that comes into play concerning what we feed ourselves with. I think it's counter-productive to get swept up in fear, though. -

Happened once when I was up at the hunting cabin. Everybody was drinking 'cept me (they only had Budweiser and it gives me headaches) and they wanted to go into town for a beer run. My friend was borderline sloshed and he grabs his keys and fires up the truck, I groan inwardly and head out to see if I can mitigate a disaster. Everybody else piles in (all with full beer cans plus a couple unopened "for the road" and they get going.
I told my friend to pull over about a mile down the road and coaxed him out of the driver's seat and I drove them the rest of the way. -

Car Talk
by Wordly Andre inover the past weekend i replaced the rear brake pads on my 03 mini cooper, changed out the cabin air filter, and steam cleaned the engine.
my friend came over with his 04 ford tarus he wanted me to look at some brake noise in the rear passenger side, turns out it only needed to be cleaned and adjusted.
i also fixed a dash light that was out on my 03 focus, then i noticed that my electric trunk latch is going out, guess i'm off to pick a part this weekend!

Yes, I love working on my cars. I live in an apartment, though, so I can't do any work on the street anymore. :(
This means I have to rely on the kindness of my future brother-in-law who has a big garage and all the tools I could desire. The last repair we did to was the windshield wiper circuit on my 88 Chrysler Pimp Avenue. I just bought it last month ($400, score!) and the previous owner said that he had it inspected at a garage and they told him the wiper linkage was broken.
We took another look at it and after blowing a few fuses, we checked all the connectors and cleaned them with a wire brush then hit everything up with dielectric grease. Voila, working wipers!
Next up is to replace the saggy rear leaf springs and blown shocks, adjust the throttle load sensor cable on the transmission (right now it'll only upshift at close to redline), and replace Chrysler's terrible emissions control timing computer with a proper ignition system.
My previous car was a focus and I did a lot of work on that myself (where feasible) however when I want to replace the rear brake shoes the bolts were so fused with rust that they just sheared right off. I had to get the garage to finish the job. I also opened up my knuckle pretty badly when I was changing the spark plugs and the ratchet slipped, sending my fist slicing over a sharp raised edge on the timing belt cover.

Oatmeal.
I've tried really hard to like this stuff but my body hates it with a passion. Two or more mouthfuls and I get nauseous.
